Stronger than plastic buckles

So, if your dog is a leash beast then this is for you.

Sizing is significantly off. UPDATE 8-9-22

Before purchasing 5/8 inch buckle collar, I did read all the negative reviews. Everyone complained that the stated size is incorrect. The product information does state and show the collars are measured from the buckle to the end of the material. In my case, 12 inches is the ENTIRE length of collar. The measurements that should have been stated are from the buckle side material (buckle length not included) all the way to the farthest hole (9 1/2 in.), to the middle hole (8 1/2 in), and the closest hole (7.5 in.). With my measuring tape the circumference (collar buckled at the last hole), is roughly 10 inches. I took a risk buying the collar. It does "fit" my miniature dachshunds (both 10 lbs. with a neck length of 9.5 inches). It doesn't fit my other 10 pounder with a neck length of 10.75. It can be buckled, however, the collar is snug and all the way up behind the ears. Very uncomfortable. I only paid $4.88 for the black buckle collar. Next time, I'm going to size up to the 14 inch. That seems like the appropriate size for mini dachshunds. I gave 3 stars because the product description is misleading in sizing. Otherwise, solid material not cheaply made. Update: August 9, 2020 I love these durable collars. The sizing is off by 2-3 inches too small. I've bought several 12 inch (orange, lime green, and black), 14 inch, 20 inch (red), and 22 inch (purple) collars. I just ordered a 14 inch Wine colored collar. What I received is a 12 inch purple. Too small for the dog I bought it for. Not happy that they sent the wrong item. Item is last picture.

OK Fit

I bought three of these collars, one for each of my dogs. I bought a blue one, a green one and a purple one. The colors in the pictures are very accurate to the actual colors. The material is very sturdy, one of the dogs tried to chew off the collar of the other and even though it has some tears it still is in one piece and doesn't seem as though it will fall apart anytime soon (even with the bite marks). That same dog has chewed through other collars and leashes but this one seemed to hold up pretty good (she is just a puppy). The only con for me is that I measured my dogs' necks to know what size to buy. Two of them measured 12 inches and the other measured 14 inches. So I bought two 14-inch collars and one 16-inch collar accordingly. They fit them OK, BUT the collar only has three holes with a lot of space in between them. For all three dogs the last hole is the one that fit and for two of them it is too loose and going to next hole would be choking them. This is an easy fix for me, but it does bother me that I have to open another hole for the collar to fit perfectly when there is enough space between them that the manufacturer could have added some more holes for a better fit. I do like them, it is a simple design and seem pretty sturdy, but I would recommend buying two sizes bigger than the thickness of your dog's neck (e.g. if your dog has a 12 inch thick neck, buy a 16-inch collar to give you some room to adjust it if needed)

Great Price

These are great basic collars in a variety of colors. I bought the size 12 in light purple for my 6 lb poodle and it fits perfect without measuring!! I also got a size 16 in Teal for my 20 lb St Bernard puppy but I now have to buy a larger size because he is growing so fast (Probably go for a size 20 now that he is 30 lbs). I also got the matching Teal colored leash. Thankfully these are a great price :) I like that they don't have a plastic clip to secure it. The clips seem like they could crack or break whereas the holes seem more secure.

Poor quality

Thin and cheap feeling. I really like their rugged plastic collars so I figured this would be a nice step up. Unfortunately they use really cheap materials and it both feels and looks worse than those. I did not feel like this secured my dog at all either, it felt as though it might snap at any moment.

SIZE UP

I wanted something pink for my puppy as most of her stuff is blue. I got this for around $5 and it’s not my favourite. The hook that you clip the lead on is really small and makes it hard to get the leash on a bouncing puppy. I bought a 16” and it just barely fits her, even though she has multiple 12” collars that fit fine.

Good collar

This collar is not a breakaway, it's secure. I put the tags on one of the hooks and the dog lead on another, this keeps the tags from getting ripped off by mistake. My puppy is 5 months old and it's a little big on the tightest hole however she will grow into it. This is my second collar.
