Not a great belt for H-H raincoat

I got this as a belt to replace the too short tie sash that came with my H-H trenchcoat/raincoat. It just won’t stay on the belt loops and kept falling off. Waited too long to return before realizing it won’t work for what I need. Need a buckle closure buckle instead of click-type closure. Also this type of click closure once it is fastened is very hard to undo.

This belt looked to be exactly what I wanted - a stretchable easy to wear belt for hiking, yard work etc. Unfortunately the buckle cannot keep the belt adjusted to the right fit - the webbing just loops around a smooth surface on the buckle and a small loop and there is not enough friction to keep it at the fit you want. It inevitably slips and loosens requiring some annoying adjustments on the go. If they had simply added some teeth or a locking mechanism to the fit adjustment this would be 5 stars. It is a little too wide for some of my men's hiking shorts as well.

Do not buy

Cheap looking, cheaply made , and the belt slides out of position so its basically useless that's the whole point of a belt is to stay fixed so it holds your pants up Would not recommend. I bought mine and it sits on the table not used and cant return it

zu schmal, weitet sich

Was soll ich sagen. Ich bin zwar großer HH-Fan, aber mit dem Gürtel werde ich nicht glücklich. Zum einen ist er zu schmal für die Segelhosen (könne rund ein bis zwei cm breiter sein) und zum anderen weitet er sich ständig, so dass man ihn immer wieder nachziehen muss. Der Verschluss ist hingegen sehr gut gelungen und der ganze Gürtel wiegt insgesamt auch kaum etwas. Dennoch würde ich vom Kauf abraten.
