The Good and the Bad of Amazon Ordering
I am 83 and Amazon is a great help to me, even more when the snow comes. I am slowly updating the locks in an old "lumber baron's" house on Lake Superior. I ordered two lock kits The price was fair and they came in a timely way. However, one of the bolt was defective is just too much too difficult, for me at least. Had a similar issue recently on a order from China. Something was missing. I tried to cure the issue but could not.

This lock may have saved my, or my housemates life
I live in a house divided into an upper and lower unit with an old friend. Previous tenants took the only keys to the back door, so we shared a front entrance, through times good and bad. With COVID, I could no longer stand his face, so I purchased this lock at at great price, surreptitiousluy installed onto the back door. and now we share a happy existence of not seeing each other every day looking bored and miserable. Install was easy, even for someone like I, who relies heavily on the kindness of strangers, double sided tape and hot glue. Thank you, Honeywell, and thank you Amazon.

It was not matching with my door
The lock is good but it’s shorter than my old one. I couldn’t use this one. But because it’s already open, I can’t return it. Only save for later in case I need it in the future.
