Room darkening is the understatement.

I have an east facing window. The morning sun is brutal at 5:30 am. I bought these for both sets of windows and. I am continually impressed by their efficiency. My room is completely dark and stays much cooler. Will buy more.

Very nice grommet top drapes, but not particularly economical

I really like this drape. The fabric is nice--the Sea Thistle color is kind of a tweedy color that looks great in the room I ordered them for. This panel darkens the room--do be aware that these are not black-out drapes, but they do reduce light considerably. My one complaint is that the panel is supposedly from Half Price Drapes, but since this price is only for one panel, this is about a third more than other comparable, good quality drapes I have ordered. So if you like it, order it, but it is not particularly a bargain, and it is only one panel. Four stars.

Midweight

This is a single curtain panel, 50X84, that is made of a tweedy textured faux linen and has a grey felt-like material backing. It's quite effective at blocking out most of the light and heat/cold from your room. This color of sea thistle (who could resist?!) is a blue-green shade that for some reason reminds me of sand dunes on the beach-go figure-but its a very calming and cool color. The whole effect works perfect this time of year when summer's heat is gone but winter hasnt completely set in yet. The large silver grommets add nice contrast, especially when hung from a brushed nickel rod. They slide smoothly when being open/shut and hang nicely, giving a tailored appearance. Definitely recommend.

Gorgeous Panel, Great Color

I grabbed this because I wasn't quite sure of the color or the material but thought it would be a good buy if it works great where I need it to and it does. I will be buying the matching panel to go with. The material is sturdy, beautiful and well made. The room darkening feature is spot-on and the length and width for my space I am using them in, fits perfectly. I definitely would recommend this panel, the only thing that would make it better is if they sold them in a set, but most curtain panels are sold individually, no matter where you get them from, at least the good ones are sold that way and I have never been able to make sense of that but I would easily be able to compare this panel to the much higher-end brands which are way more expensive as well. I hope you find this review helpful!

Very Well Made

Seeing how this is intended to be a replacement for an existing set, one would think they would be sold in pairs of two curtains to a package. This is like buying a sample before you buy a set of two, or more. To the Seller's credit, they are advertised as one panel per order. + Very good quality...materials and workmanship + Large grommets for beefy curtain rods + Light blocking...my lighter material color (tan) still blocks much of the sunlight + Nice feeling/looking silky like backing - On the higher end of price point...especially with just one panel

What I needed

I got this to partition an area in my bathroom. Works great. Nice quality. Should hold up nicely over time.
