easy to install

It was made by the same manufacturer and the fan so not surprising that it fit well and matched the fan color perfectly.

A little pricey for a downrod

They kinda force you to buy this no matter the price as it is the same metal finish as the fan you just bought. Why cant a downrod come standard in the fan boxes? You cannot adjust the height so you get what you get. Just a bit pricey in my opinion.

Perfect fit! Perfect value!

Purchased my fan on another website, but had hard time finding longer rod as need to install fan on vaulted ceiling. Amazon had best price and easy match of rod as when you look at the fans they sell, they give you other parts that you may use-excellent feature! I also notice that rods are about 3 times cheaper on Amazon than on other shopping site.

Does not match.

I called Hunter Fans to find a match for their matte nickel color and they said this matched.. it does not. Not anywhere close actually. So don’t waste your time buying this.

Description of "Silver" does not match

Ordered a "silver" but if this is silver, then Hunter's mother never polished hers... :-P Seriously though, the color is very dark, and doesn't match the silver fan at all. In hindsight I should've ordered a brushed nickel, which would've been a better match, and cheaper too. As it was, electrician installed it at a vaulted ceiling so now I've got a contrasting rod. Not too happy but for the time being I'll live with it. If I remember and it's possible I'll take and post a picture later.
