I do not hunt during the rut (yet anyway) so decided to return it. but it was easy to use and carry.

Easy to use

I ordered this for my wife who has a hard time with mouth reeds. She has become efficient with it. I love the way this is compact and sits easy on the hip. The only foul i found was its difficult to chuckle correctly, otherwise a fast and easy bugle.

Mouth piece falls out.

The call works great but I lost the mouth piece the second time out. Had the call attached to my belt loop while hunting and the mouth piece fell out and I didn’t notice till I went to use it and it wasn’t there. Needs to have a twist lock or ridge to snap the call into. If you purchase one keep the mouth part in a pocket!

Nice elk call!

My son found an older version of this type of call in the woods while we were out exploring- of course the rubber and reed were rotted, but he didn't care. I ordered him a functional call and this young man is well on his way to speaking elk (bugling, chirping, mewing, etc). Easy to use and great for youngsters to hone their skills.

Broke almost immediately

Bought for my FIL because he was taking a trip to Colorado to hunt elk and it broke on the 2nd or 3rd try after it was delivered. He didn’t even get to use it on his hunting trip.

Good call, easy to use without having to use ...

Good call, easy to use without having to use a reed, doesn't go as deep as I'd like, but can make it work, not all bulls are giants, but sometimes the giant want to run the young ones off and keep his harem in line.
