Wonderful Bird Feeder!

I've had this feeder installed for a couple of weeks now and have been very pleased. The construction and design are excellent. It easily disassembles for cleaning and refilling. The plastic tube is a good thickness and should last a long time. The riveting on the copper is perfect and there are no sharp edges. I made my stand out of a metal pole with a bent steel rod as the arm. The painted plastic bowl is to keep the squirrels away (and it seems to be working). It took a couple of weeks before the birds began to visit the new restaurant regularly. They seem very happy and I am too. Please note that the copper quickly lost it's shiny appearance but this was expected - it is just what copper does in the outdoors. Maybe over time it will develop a nice green patina. Bang for the buck this is a great feeder and I have no hesitation in recommending it!

Handsome bird feeder

The copper caught my eye and i love how it looks hanging. The birds love it too but unfortunately the squirrels do too!!

Beautiful bird feeder

A friend recommended this bird feeder. I bought it for my husband as a Christmas gift, and he is very pleased with it. It’s easy to fill, it looks nice in the yard, and the birds love it!

So the Good Directions bird feeder is very attractive. However, after two days it was starting to tarnish. So I used Wright's Copper Cream to clean it, then applied Everbrite clear coating to seal it. I love the copper look, so it was worth the little extra work.

Very nice hanging next to my Good Directions Eagle weather vane and it only allows the birds I want to perch on it. My other Good Directions "classic" bird feeder allowed unwanted pigeons to perch on it. I have turned that one into a solar lighted decoration with the use of mason jar cap lights.

Nice feeder!

This was a copper (7th) anniversary gift, and was well received! Nice quality, easy to fill, sturdy enough to handle the naughty squirrels! We like it!
