Pretty good
I wanted to like this VERY much. The only thing I have to report that is negative is, when cutting the steak, I saw cut marks in the board. This board is supposed to be used for slicing/cutting cooked items that are juicy. That much I guessed. That's why I bought it. I've only used it once. I'm afraid of what it's going to look like after many uses. Nancy Visconti

Love my cutting board
I’ve had previous versions of this Joseph Joseph cutting board and have loved them. This one is a slightly better design and appears more sturdy. I’ve had many cutting boards but these are my favorites and I highly recommend them.

Not as well made as the smaller versions
I own the smaller version of this (my second one) and love it so I decided to order the X-Large. Unfortunately the X-Large is not as good as the smaller version. The whole thing is slightly warped and will not lay flat due to the side with the spikes being bubbled. Stick with the smaller versions and avoid the X-Large.

Warped
As another reviewer mentioned I really liked the smaller version which worked really well. Unfortunately, this larger version is warped in the center. The side with the spikes bows out which means that the board is sitting on the spikes when using the flat (unspiked) side. The board rocks badly when trying to cut on it. Will be returning and will probably allow them to replace with another board to see if it’s flat. If not, I’ll stick with my original board. Edit: Received my replacement board. It’s warped worse than the first one. It’s going back as well but for a refund. This board design is innovative and works really well for the smaller versions but this X-large one is evidently too big for the materials it’s made of which allows the warping. Unfortunate.

So versatile!
I purchased this board for catching the juices when carving meats but instead I use it for cutting almost everything!!! I love it.

Best chopping board
I bought the old version a few years ago. This is an upgrade new version. It is the best one I ever used. The slopping feature is very good to keep the water away. However, I still prefer the old version. It is more study. This version can fit into the dishwasher better, but lack of grip on the kitchen top. Sometimes sliding.
