Not Impressed

My kitty loved the K&H heated windowsill thing, so I thought that he may like this as well. It’s much smaller than I thought it would be, and the heat doesn’t come through very well. After he gave it a couple of tries, he completely lost interest, so I just returned it.

Cute & Stylish

Item comes folded flat in zippered plastic package. The sides are made of some type of thick cardboard-like material covered in the outer and inner fabric. One side of the bed was a bit warped but not so much that I wanted to return it. For the price point, the level of quality is adequate. There’s a hole designed in the corner of the box for the cord to go out and allow the box to sit flat. Cord is a good length. Pillow is cushioned and heats up nicely and 2/3 cats love it so far. The inner black fabric that lines the box is a low-profile velvet-fleece type material so if you have light-furred cats, you may see fur on it and need to vacuum it off. The fabric handles seem odd and don’t lay flat so that could be a choking hazard for small, rambunctious kittens. Though, the handles do make the unit appear more like a decorative box vs a cat bed so that style aspect may be appealing to some. Pictured is a 7 lb fluffy kitten (6 months old), our senior gal is 8 lbs and she curled up in it comfortably with room to spare. If your cat is large or lays stretched out, this may not be a good fit for them. The manufacturer might consider a rectangle-shaped size for larger animals or for pairs who like to snuggle together.

Cats love it! Give it some time

It took a week or so before my cats began to sleep in this. I didnt have any catnip to sprinkle on the bed, so I took one of the cats' towels and used it to wrap up the pillow. The pillow is super soft, and for easy cleaning, I wrap the pillow with a towel and my cats are still able to get the warmth through an extra layer on top of the pillow. I always unplug it when I am not home, but there were times I would leave it on for days and forgot to unplug it and it still holds up super well and has not overheated even once. I would set this in the sunlight and my cats would love it, since they would be extra warm and cozy from the bed and the sun.

Doesn't turn off

This was advertised as only turning on when it detects weight. That's not the case for me, it's always on no matter what. The bed is great in all respects except that.

Kitties LOVE boxes

Best thing ever! Kitties always love boxes. I personally only plug it in on super cold days. It was supposed to be for my Oriental Shorthair but everyone LOVES it. Super soft pillow and sturdy chew proof walls. Mine don’t chew. Would buy over and over again!!

The perfect cat box!

My mom’s cat loves this! She went straight to it and is in it daily. She loves the soft padding and heated interior, and what cat doesn’t love to get in a box? This is the perfect cat box and bed!

Cats loved so much I had to buy a 2nd

I was skeptical at first for price compared to other models that don’t hear or fancy heating pads but grabbed one because of the reviews. Well... it has the box shape my cats love, the cushion is soft and easy to clean and maintain. The cats immediately took to it. So much so that they fought over it constantly and it was always in use. Just one week after getting it I had to buy a 2nd for my other cat and both now sleep at my feet while I am at my work from home station - and most of the day in general. The picture is them having been woken up by me while trying to take the picture and hide my computer cord mess. This product is incredible. Highly recommend.
