All day warmth

I liked the idea of having a bed that was warm all day long without having to plug/unplug it in constantly. I had been using an old hotpad (for people), which would get too hot and require me to turn it off frequently and never overnight. This bed is nice because you can keep it plugged in all the time and the warmth of the kitties' bodies also boost of warmth of the bed when they're laying in it. It's a hit! All three of my kitties love this! I haven't had it too long, so can't speak to the durability. In terms of softness, it's a firm "soft" if that makes sense. Compared to their big fluffy bed, this isn't as soft, but it's very practical for what it needs to do.

My cat LOVES this bed!!!

This bed is Clutch. I bought this bed for my indoor/outdoor cat because she tends to like to sleep outside half the time and it gets down to around 50 degrees this winter???? I plug it in and it’s on a chair under an open but covered patio in the backyard and she’s slept in this bed everyday for almost 2 months now!???? If she’s outside, there’s a good chance she’s in this bed, that’s how much she loves it. Lol. It doesn’t get as hot as typical human heated blankets, but apparently it’s the perfect temperature for cats because she certainly knows where the warmth is and she sleeps all night in this bed. It stays fairly clean, a quick vacuum removes any leaves. I haven’t had to wash it yet. Highly recommend if you’ve got an outside cat and a Covered patio. I’ve seen the heated cat houses, but I don’t think my cat would feel safe sleeping outdoors in an enclosed little house. 16” bed is perfect for a 10lbs. cat. ????

Great

Not too hot or cold. My floors are chilly in the winter and my older cat, who just passed away love this. We got it for her to keep her warm and feeling safe from the other younger kittens. I’ve washed and air dried this and it looks brand new. I had one years ago, and the newer ones are much better. If you’re on the fence, go for it. You and your pets will be glad you did.

She Loves it!

This bed is a total lifesaver. Our poor kitty had to be shaved and was left shivering all the time. We placed the bed in her normal sleeping spot and she finally got it. She has not left this bed except to eat. Keeps her warm and toasty and super comfy. Highly recommend!

He's happy

Tarzan seems to really like it, but he still prefers to lay on me, and he really only uses it when I'm working from home (it's placed right by my side, under my desk) It came crunched up in a box and never really rounded out, but he doesn't seem to mind. I'm very happy that it doesn't get too hot for him. He will lay in it for many hours at a time. Hes a fully grown 7 year old Bombay so i worried it might be too small (i bought the small one) but i think he enjoys the "tucked in" feeling it gives. Happy kitty, happy customer!

Cat loves it

I have been torn about leaving the heat on at night, bc on one hand, I didn't want to have the heat on that long, on the other hand I worried our short-handed cat was getting cold because he kept breaking into the bedroom howling every morning. So we got him this bed and he spends most of his life in it now. He still breaks into my bedroom sometimes, but not every morning and not while yelling at me. I also got this bed for my friend whose cat wasn't letting him sleep at night, and although his cat is still in the bedroom, he sleeps in the cat bed instead of waking my friend up trying to find a warmer spot to curl up in. We've had it for a few weeks now, and I would definitely recommend it.

Just what the doctor ordered.

Our senior cat was losing weight and his fur was thinning. Our vet recommended a heated bed instead of the passive warmth he was getting from his fuzzy bed. It took a few days and some creativity on my wife's part for him to take to it, but once he did it worked like a charm and he shunned his passive bedding. Vet stated that human heated blankets and throws are too hot for pets and could cause burns. These are temperature regulated for animals and are therefore more appropriate. Unfortunately, he passed before we could assess durability of the unit, but it provided him comfort over his final months.

Great for cats and small dogs

My cat really likes this. I like how when he is not using it, the bed cools down but when he hops on it it get warms. Not too warm but warm enough. My little dog also has hoped in it from time to time.

After trying many cat beds ay cat has chosen a winner!

My cat is a rescue cat and he had been on the streets for two years when I took him in in January 2012. He did not like any of the many cat beds that I have tried him with during the past two years since he came to live with me until I bought this Rosewood Thermo-Kitty Bed. As I am writing this review he is fast asleep in his bed, which is not even being heated at the moment. He spends a lot of his sleeping time in this bed. Thank goodness I've eventually found a bed that he will use - AND HE LOVES IT! (IT HAS TAKEN TWO YEARS TO FIND A BED THAT HE LIKES AND USES!) I THOROUGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CAT BED!

Didn't Heat Up

I ordered this for my elderly tabby. The first bed arrived without a power lead. The replacement came with the power lead but did not heat up. The bed itself is lovely - wonderfully soft and comfy. However, a heated bed that doesn't heat up (even after 3 and half hours of being plugged in) is not worth this sort of money.

Love it!

I have a neighbor's cat who doesn't want to go into their house, for whatever reason(something spooked him and now he won't go inside). I can't let him in my house because my own cat hates other cats. I saw this heated bed meant for indoor use(fine for outside cold temps just not weather-proof), and thought I'd try it. I have it in the unheated storage area attached to the back of my home. I leave the patio door open just wide enough so he can get in/out. Once he spotted it, he plunked himself down in it and that was it! Since I bought it, he spends literally all his time tucked up in it, nice and cozy. He only ventures outside to be fed by his owner and to toilet, in this very cold Eastern Ontario winter we currently have. What I love about the bed is that it's very low wattage, and that it only heats to the cats normal body temperature. I bought the larger size because this guy is a big fluffy cat, he fits in it perfectly. I highly recommend this bed, your cat will love it!

Pretty bed

Though it doesn't really get warm on the top, where kitty is... It is slightly warm at the bottom, but the pillow on top doesn't even get warm... I really need a heated bed for my cat, as the house can get really cold. We will test the bed a couple days more and if no improvement, will contact the seller

Best heated bed we've had

we have two of these now - and five cats. I think we need another three - they all love them.Doesn't get red hot but that just stood up from your seat heat that cats LOVE. None of ours are getting any younger and I think these are perfect for them.
