Multiple issues

The first issue I had is that I didn't receive the Sanke keg coupler with the kit. I went ahead and ordered a replacement so that I wouldn't have to wait to resolve the issue with the supplier. I then proceeded to hook up the rest of my equipment so that everything would be ready when the coupler arrived. I then found that the regulator didn't work. With the pressure adjustment reduced to the minimum setting, the outlet gauge pressure continued to rise until the blow off valve relieved pressure. The pressure would continue to rise and blow off in this manner continuously. HomeBrewStuff sent me my missing tap by priority mail and I was eventually able to get the regulator to hold pressure after cycling the pressure adjustment. I did later hear a leak on the tap which I thought I fixed after removing and re-seating the tap. A few days after this my CO2 tank was empty. I refilled my tank and sprayed the tap with soap water to test for leaks. The tap was leaking from between the tap stem and tap body. I disassembled the tap and found that the stem o-rings were misshapen. It appeared that the valve was assembled without any lubrication causing the o-rings to twist and leak. I lubricated the o-rings, reassembled the tap and tested for leaks. So far I haven't found any leaks but I make sure I don't leave the CO2 on in case it begins to leak again.

Easy company to work with

This kegerator kit is great and durable. The company is great to deal with. I was missing a part on arrival and the company express shipped the missing piece without blinking and eye. The whole system has a lot of tubing giving you many options past the standard fridge set up. The regulator did over rotate and displayed incorrect overall tank pressure readings, but reset somehow. So this is a little discomforting, but doesn’t affect anything besides surprise empty tanks. I actually used this on a custom triple tap set up and it’s the most complete part of the whole thing. The circle clamps are great and make for quick tight fits. Everything else about this kit is great would buy again for other projects.

Good startup for your Kegs but the tap provided is just ok.

Great startup for your Keg. I couldn't get the tap dialed in and it would pour 90% foam. I know this can be a pressure or line length issue. I upgraded my tap and now get the perfect pour.

Not included

I used this kit to convert an old refrig to a kegerator. I did not get all of the items promised. i had to call and the rep said that the gauges and the CO2 tank were not included in the price. i had to send the a picture that i downloaded from Amazon that showed the CO2 tank and the gauges. They sent the gauge but not the tank. Then they informed me that they would update the picture to reflect what the product actually included... wasn't too happy that i didn't receive the tank ... but all in all, still was a pretty good deal.

Breathe new life into your old fridge!

Works great. Turned my old fridge into a kegerator on the cheap. I had to run my co2 at around 2psi to get the head down. My tap sits lower than the top of my keg, so first beer is little foamy.

Kegco Conversion Kit

So far, so good!! Super easy to assemble, great directions too! Just got my first keg of Blue Moon tapped a few days ago and it’s delicious!! I’d definitely recommend this product!

Great value

Being in lock down I needed my local micro brewery beer. Found out about 1/6 barrel availability. Punched a hole in the garage fridge and installed. Works awesome

Don’t buy if you are UK beer, European lager drinkers

I’m sure the product is of good quality. However, the regulator did not fit the standard CO2 bottle and the coupler only works on American beer kegs such as Bud. On reflection I should have realised since the product came from Canada. Whilst the coupler may come in use in the future if I buy an American lager rather than European lagers such as Moretti, Amstell or San Miguel, I feel like I’ve spent a lot of money for two plastic tubes.
