Pretty but smaller than expected

This light is pretty but a little smaller than I expected plus it is tricky to install. The instructions are terrible and only show vague pictures. We finally had to use a different mounting plate and could not use the decorative screw caps that it comes with. Also, the bulb sits so low that you can see just the tip of it underneath the light, especially when sitting down on the patio. It is pretty though and we are mostly pleased with the look now that the installation is over.

Beautiful light - recommend

Installed this cross creek wall light that we've installed and a smaller one (9128). Love them. (Also purchased the ceiling light (9830), next larger wall (9132) light, and low voltage (12v) pathway light (15322.) Cast a great light regardless of which type of bulb that we use - incandescent, florescent or led or wattage. Installed on panel siding which has a slant, but mounted so that it hung straight down, so need to caulk fill gap.

Decent build quality

Although people have commented on how small the fixture is, it is exactly the same dimensions as indicated in the details. Small, yes, but it's the size I needed and could afford :) The quality of the fixture is "good off-shore", it's got decent weight and is definitely of better build quality. The only semi-negative is that the fixture mounting system is a bit cheesy and no weather gasket is included (so you might have to run a bead of caulk around the top and sides to keep moisture out of the box.
