Product is Great but there is something that Manufacturer should IMPROVE!

First things first: I have bought this item, kept it for couple days and I am shipping it back. So before making your shopping decision here is what you need to know: Pros: Absolutely beautifully constructed. Solid and sturdy Very nice architecture of the item in person It looks more beautiful then in the picture The green chalk board side is nice color The white side is as big as the chalk board side Comes with paper roll you can skip installing the bottom shelf and the side shelves if you choose so (I did not want the bottom shelf and the side of the white board shelves as I wanted it to be easily foldable and to take less space, I could do that easily) The chalk shelve can be lifted up for storage so it takes up less space. You can fold it nicely altogether so it does not take up much space at all. Legs are edjsutable. YOu can easily respoition screw on each leg to make it longer o shorted and it is quite a great deal of length that you can reduce or add that way. Cons - What made me to return the item and what I believe the distributor should look into: The product has a profound chemical smell upon arrival that reminds me of a pesticide section of a Home Depot store. At first it was mostly smell of paint, and.. possibly a Styrofoam that it came heavily padded with. Then the smell of paint went away but the other did not, I could not stand next to It without my eyes and skin itching, the same with my child. It was obvious that that smell won't go away anytime soon and I was even wondering if it is safe for a child. I did not attempt to rinse it or wipe as my experience with other children furniture told me that it is futile. Once something has this kind of smell, it won't go away. I don't want to give this product bad reviews only because I believe it is an amazing and beautiful easel and there are none like this on the market now as I searched low and high and that was IT. I was so full of hope for this and I am sure that scores of parents would enjoy this product as it is very practical and not an eye sore in your home. However the smell thing should be addressed. I will be happy to remove my review if I see that others reported that this item is no more smelling as I hope that the distributor will look into the issue and request adequate changes with the manufacturer as this should be looked into and checked as this is a child product and should not be taken lightly. We care what goes into our children's products and we do trust the name of the brand. Please keep up with the demand for safety.

Great Size and easy to assemble

I loved how easy this was to assemble, it is the perfect size and height, I think it is great size for any toddler, I like the dual size and storage area, my only complaints is that the pages don’t rip clean and neither size is magnetic

This is not a Wooden Easel

For $100, this is very cheap. Title says wooden easel —- my grandkids ( 3 and 5) had this about a week when it got knocked over. The whole top plastic frame cracked and broke, . Poor quality

I love it. My daughter loves it. Building it is easy and quick. I just laid down all the parts with numbers in it and then follow the instruction on what to do. I ordered the white easel and I have to say it looks very nice but when your kids start using it, especially with chalk and paint it's going to be a pain. Anyway I use baby wipes to clean the wood from paint spills and it makes my work easy. I love the rolling paper. My daughter use it either with crayons or paint. I'm not a fan of the whiteboard. I don't know if it's the board that is a low quality or the Expo markers I'm using but it doesn't erase well. I even order a separate Expo spray cleaner but it still leaves a mark. Bad bad bad!!! Anyway onto the paint cups, it only includes 2 which is a shame. It's the perfect cups, goes right in the hole and opens and close easy. I mean I love it. So I purchased an additional paints cups from the melissa and doug brand but it's not as good. It's huge and just feels weird, almost didnt fit on the easel hole so I don't recommend this brand's paint cups for the kidkraft easel. I wish Kidkraft would sell the same cups separately and maybe put 2 more additional holes on the easel and it would be perfect.

Sturdy and looks great!

This was super easy to assemble. It took me 10mins. The design is simple and sturdy. My daughter is very artistic and LOVES this. She can paint, color and use the chalk board. If you have a child who’s very artistic, this is the toy for them. Highly recommend

Cute but disappointing

Aesthetically, this product is great! However, we received parts that were damaged (split wood), making it impossible for Santa to responsibly complete assembly on Christmas Eve. Since this was the #1 item on our granddaughter’s Christmas list, we were stuck with it. The white board side works fine and the paper is a nice addition to the traditional blackboard for which we’re grateful because the blackboard is not chalk friendly. Somewhere along the way, the makers lost sight that the actual blackboard is the most important feature. We are very unhappy with this product and would not recommend.

Great Quality!

A little challenging to assemble without a second person, but great quality. Looked beautiful assembled under the Christmas tree!

Disappointed that the easel is not wide enough to accommodate ...

Disappointed that the easel is not wide enough to accommodate a roll of lining paper which is cheap, strong and not shiny. Don't know where to get a replacement roll to fit this easel or how much it costs. Wasn't impressed with the quality of the roll of paper supplied with the easel. An easel bought from elsewhere lets the lining paper slip behind the wood top and bottom of the square to keep the paper flat.
