Disappointed

The product initially appeared to be very good - it was heavy chromed brass. Had some heft to it. The escutcheon plate can be too small for some applications - it would have been SOOO much better if it had been 1/2 inch larger in diameter- so check your sink mounting hole diameter carefully. After installing - which was in a difficult place - I found it leaked from the bottom of the unit. The leak was from the threaded sleeve that goes into the valve body itself.It was a slow leak - but none the less a leak. I had to pull the thing completely out and fix it. I had to un-thread the nipple and put potable pipe dope on the threads - the threads are NOT NPT type so they have a tendency to leak if they aren't carefully sealed. I was smarter this time - I checked it thoroughly before reinstalling it. Took two tries to get is sealed and tightened leak free - total hassle. I used this with a water filter to provide filtered water from this spigot only at the sink.

Great customer service.

The unit is built solid with a smooth action. Looks great. When I received the unit I noticed a small scratch/defect on the handle. I emailed the company explaining the issue and included photos of the handle. After sending their customer service department a copy of my Amazon invoice I received a new replacement handle in a couple of days. Very satisfied with the unit and especially the customer service.

A nice inexpensive filter faucet with a 10-year warranty

Unfortunately it is shorter than the specification, the height is 10 3/4", not 11", and faucet tip is only 8 3/8" high, instead of 8 3/4" listed on Kingston Brass's web site.

Great faucet has not disappointed.

This faucet was purchased for our kitchen remodel last summer and has certainly lived up to my expectations. The finish is very nice with the oil rubbed bronze. The water flow is like WOW! Maybe that has nothing to do with the actually faucet, but it sure comes out fast if we want it to. It makes filling up a thermos or large jug very quick. The head swivels different directions as well. We use it for drinking water in our kitchen and love it.

Can't run hot and cold

This item had to be returned. There was no way to run hot and cold water to this faucet. It's beautiful. But I would have always had to wash my hands with cold water.
