I was paying $40 for a 35’ hand tape, this tape is a great deal, I’ve pulled it out to the max a few times and it still rolls up beautifully. I will never buy any other. Thanks!

Seriously, this is the best Tape Measure on Amazon for the price.
I love this tape measure, and here's why.... First let me outline the categories I am judging this in Durability, Visibility, Usability, Reliability, and Price First Durability: This thing is made well, like really well. I have used some less then durable tape measures before that you would extend out 4 or 5 feet and the tape would crack and not hold straight.... Since this was 10-15 ft longer then your average tape, I was half expecting that... However,This tape I can extend out to a point 14'-0 ft away from where i am standing, and can extend 8ft out, lock the tape and have the 8 ft section float with out cracking down. This is great, sturdy and not at all flimsy like others. Just built great. A+ Here for sure Visibility: Again, this is just great, numbers are large no metric or clutter fractions marks clogging up the inch ticks. (yes it still has the 1/16 break lines) It is highly reflective and you can see it clearly with very little light. I literally thought it was glow in the dark when i first used it in a dim lit basement, Its that reflective and easy to read. Also at the inch ticks below them it says the feet and inches so at 66" it says 66" 5'-6"... again awesome. This is really great for fast-paced field checks and dimensions in low visibility. Usability: Perfect here too. The tape snaps back with speed and force, not dragging or snagging. And best of all the lock button actually get this.... LOCKS. I cant tell you how many tapes I have used that slowly but surly the lock button is more of a "slow drag" button. This is not the case here. Lock works perfect, and re-track works effortlessly. Reliability: If your like me, you aren't just using this thing to measure a table in your nicely finished kitchen.. .your actually using this in the field or in home renovations. This thing is standing the test. Cold/Hot/dirty/wet/ this thing is working great. A+ Here as well. Price: Um yes this one literally wins the internet right here. Its the cheapest one in its category of 35ft. Check home depot, lows, Walmart, even eBay. This is it. Lastly a Bonus, this is shipping from the US meaning you can get it really fast...oh and FREE. Ok, I cant believe I just wrote this long of a review for a tape measure but seriously the amount of cheap junk I some times end up with between shopping amazon and eBay.. I finally got a product I am actually impressed with especially for the low price. Take care, and hope this review helps you.

Best Tape Measure I've Ever Owned
After spending an unjustifiable amount of time agonizing over which tape measure to purchase, confused by all the contradictory product reviews which seemed to praise and condemn every option available, I selected this Komelon 25-Foot High-Visibility Professional tape measure. I am very pleased, as this is the best tape measure I have ever owned. Its positive attributes include: 1.) A stiff tape that will hold its own weight out to 7 feet before it bends and falls. 2.) A lock that really locks the tape firmly in place (if you press hard to engage it), with a coiled spring system that strongly retracts the tape measure. 3.) Huge highly-visible numbers you can easily see at a distance. 4.) A very practical and useful system of numbers which tell you both the total number of inches, and the number of feet plus inches... for example, at "75" inches it also says "6F 3" (6 feet 3 inches) and at "102" inches it also says "8F 6" (8 feet 6 inches), etc. In the USA, this additional alternate reading is far more relevant information than providing the alternate reading in metric centimeters, as other tape measures often do. (Be honest, when was the last time you measured anything more than a foot in length using centimeters?) 5.) A beautiful grip-ribbed smooth chrome-like case which feels good, is easy to firmly hold, and is not as bulky as those thick rubberized cases. If you are trying to decide which length to purchase, as this one comes in 10, 12, 16, 25, 30, and 35 foot lengths, I would recommend 25 feet for typical around-the-house use. I say this because 25 feet is the minimum length that will get you the full one-inch thick tape blade (10, 12, and 16 using a more narrow tape blade)... and 30 or 35 foot lengths make the tape measure needlessly heavier for those who do not typically measure things that are that long.

Amazing 35 ft. tape measure for the price
My husband and I bought the 35 ft. tape measure to use for a variety of tasks - from our home design to our event business. This was the best price for a 35 ft. tape measure that we found (strangely enough, at the time of our purchase, it was much cheaper than many shorter tape measures within the same brand and model). I wouldn't say we are heavy users of the tape measure in comparison to those in construction/architecture/engineering, but we pull it out anywhere between 4 to 15 times a week. So far, it has held up well to our moderate usage. My only gripe is that it only measures in feet and inches. Every tape measure I have owned before this has both imperial and metric. I'm not sure why it's a good idea to make a tape measure with ONLY imperial. Especially when metric is honestly superior and I use it a lot for some of my measurements.

Impressed with weight and compactness.
Nice high-viz tape. Light and very compact considering it's a 35'-about the same size as a stanley powerlock 25'. Hasn't got much of a workout yet, but I will update this if my opinion changes.
