Upgraded grate for my upgraded bathroom!
The media could not be loaded. I love this grate! I first ordered the wrong size, but amazon was quick to refund and I ordered the correct size immediately. I was showing off my bathroom the other day to a friend and she couldn't stop talking about this decorative grate. I have a beautiful side-lit mirror, marble tiles, waterfall shower, quartz counters, and her favorite thing was this decorative grate! My husband was a little skeptical about my stubbornness in replacing the old grate with this one, but we pushed through and I'm so happy we did! Love this! FYI, my husband did have to drill holes in the grate to install but this was very easy for him. Definetly would like to slowly began replacing all of the grates in my home with these beauties! ???? Design is all in the details!

Worth the price
Overall the product looks great over the vents in our bathroom floors. It is prettier to look at compared to traditional models. The top of the grate is metal and the pieces underneath to control the airflow are plastic. There were a few chips in the white enamel when it arrived but based on the money spent we did not consider it a big enough issue to return.

Great addition!
I wouldn't recommend putting this where there's heavy traffic as the top part isn't made of metal. I put this on my daughter's room and it's perfect there.

lightly glued in for walls
We looked everywhere for nice looking grates that would connect to our walls for our basement and could not find any that would fasten in. So we resorted to getting two of these and lightly glued them in. NOTE: we also bought some others for the ceiling and drilled holes and screwed them in. Outer metal is fairly strong, however I have seen first-hand other people that used these on the floor and they quickly bent and got beat up, granted these areas were in a fairly high traffic area. We are planning on buying more that will be used on the floors however our vents on the floors are not all that high of traffic, so hopefully they will hold up well. Inner plastic housing vents: They do seem kind of cheap, but have not had any issues with them... who knows, maybe they will last a lifetime. They seem to close and open nicely. Can feel a bit of air coming through when completely shut but not very much. All in all they look great and work great. I would recommend them, but not so sure about high traffic areas. Would be nice if they made some that looked exactly the same but specifically made for high traffic areas.

Big Positive Difference
Funny how I paid attention to every detail when we had the bathrooms renovated, but we put the crummy old rusty and dirty generic brown floor vents back in place. How dumb is that? How could I not notice? What a difference this pristine off-white floor vent makes! I am so pleased with how well it matches the ecru grout and the antique white walls. I really don't care that it sit just a tiny bit above the floor and that the controls are different. It sure is a lot easier to open and close them than with the old rusty vents. This is a very small purchase that makes a very pleasing and wonderful difference in how the room looks.

Made a purchase less than 24 hours prior to purchasing this item and was still charged shipping and handling. The vent is great but with the additional charge quite costly. If you are not going to honor the 24 hour thing then don’t promise it.
