Perfect for narrow spaces
This is absolutely perfect. It's narrow enough to fit in the wasted space next to the shower in my travel trailer. The wire holds the bag open which is perfect for my needs. The cloth is thicker so should last a long time. It has a hanger.

Decent
Committed so I’m kind of stuck with them! I just keep buying more and replacing them like a sucker. They hang wonky and inconsistently. But they do the trick. I built this board and batten around their size. So yup I’m stuck with them!!!

Awesome Laundry Hamper
This laundry hamper is awesome. It is sturdy, fits into small spaces and the greatest feature is that you can hang it, so it does not take up floor space. When you're ready to do laundry, you can remove the hanger and pull the string to close it like a sack. This is great especially for college students.

LOVE it!
I was skeptical because of the few low reviews but this is a total home run! I needed a quick and easy solution to keep my toddler out of her hamper, and I took a chance on this because it was only $12. (I have it hanging on an over-the-door hook and not the knob)I wish I'd gotten it sooner! It seems really sturdy. It doesn't collapse on me like others said. It collapses when I empty it, but never while it's hanging or when I toss things in - it stays wide open until I take it down. One full bag does equal one full load for my brand new full sized washing machine! Maybe the reviews who say it doesn't hold a full load have a huge, high capacity machine? In fact, when a load is mostly jeans, this bag actually holds MORE than my washing machine can. It keeps dirty laundry out of my toddler's reach, while still keeping it close enough for me to toss things in all day, which I love! I don't even need the zipper, I just tip it over the washer and shake the clothes out. I loved this so much that I ordered two more, one for me and one for my husband. I love that they are washable, too. I washed my daughter's after I'd had it for a few months and it looks identical to mine and my husband's which are brand new. No wear at all! They do sag just a little bit when they are full of my husband's jeans, but the spring right back to life on laundry day. I recommend these to anyone and everyone! Oh, and since it is made of canvas, you can paint it if you don't like the plain white for your decor. Even some simple chevron stripes in a bold color would make this gorgeous. Note: Even though the hook never collapsed when it was hanging up, I got a wee bit tired of it collapsing when I'd dump it out. So, I wrapped a rubber band around parallel lines and now the hook NEVER slips. Amazon doesn't do customer submitted photos anymore, but I am about to order number FOUR (Not because any of the others failed, but because my daughter has one, my husband and I each have one, and I want a fourth one for towels and bedding, etc) and when that arrives, I will take a video of my rubber band trick and attach it to this review. 9/21/13

Works for Narrow Laundry Rm
Our 3 previous laundry bags were lost during our last move. These are a nice heavyweight fabric with a zipper to aid emptying dirty laundry into the washing machine. My mom only criticism is they have almost doubled in price over the past 7 years.

Household Essentials Hanging Laundry Hamper Bag - Great idea - Works - Lousy hanger design
Our kids have hampers in their closets, and we have one in our bathroom. But what does one do with dirty dish towels, the hand towel that wiped up the spilled soup, and the muddy pants and socks that just came in from a hike in the woods? More often then not, those types of things were just getting tossed into the corner of the laundry room waiting for 'someone' to do the next load of laundry. Yep - that was very perturbing. Our laundry room is long, but narrow... one door leading to the inner hallway, and the other to the garage. There is no room for a floor-standing hamper in there, but there is an 8 hook coat rack the seems perfectly made for this hanging hamper. Indeed, the hanging hamper was put in place and an edict sent out to all that the dirty odds 'n ends must now go into it, and not on the floor. That has been a very nice change, and earns this hamper 5 stars for getting the dirty laundry off my floor an into a bin. However, as other reviewers have noted, the hanger mechanics are just poorly done and there is no way to set the hanger that keeps the mouth of the hamper open for easy use. Instead, it slides to one side or the other --- closing the mouth of the hamper, and making the hamper hang crooked. If the hanger were fixed in place, all would seemingly be well with the world! Think that will be my next project -- wonder how fixed I can make it using vice grips and a hammer? Regardless of the design fault, the dirty tidbits are now off of the laundry floor and that is a good thing. Recommended, as long as you are not too sensitive about the way it hangs -- or maybe you can hang it in a location that is neveer visible to others and the way it hangs will be a non issue. Good function; Odd form.

Good quality and spacious. It works great for what I need it for. My only problem is that you can't detatch the laundry bag to wash it, so I deducted a star for that.

so far so good
just got it, ran it through the washing machine and let it air dry, it washed well and fit back on the metal frame no problem. It fits great in my closet - very space efficient and feels sturdy. I think I might actually get a second one for another closet.
