As advertised - i love percale

Cut corners in production

First off the fact that the design is only on one side & there is no fold down border makes it looks cheap when the bed is made. Secondly, the width of the flat sheet, for this king set was 102” all my king sheets have a with of 108”. That 6 less inches, 3” on each side made it impossible to tuck under the mattress. The feel of the percale weave seemed to be rougher than the sateen weave, which we were aware of. Going forward we will be buying sateen or another brand. Very disappointed Lacoste cut corners to save money on production.

Great price for the quality of sheets

It has been more than a year since I purchased a Cal King set. Most of the other sheets that I have bought around the same time have been either given away or thrown in rubbish. It is percale cotton so wrinkle free, absolutely not. However, these sheets are far more manageable that my other percale sheets from several high end brands. That is the down side of percale and cotton, if you want wrinkle "free" you have to opt for microfiber. They feel cool and smooth when sleeping. Fits my Simmonds Cal King with pillow top perfectly, and stays on. Sorry, that I have to mention it on this review as this supplier has nothing to do with it but more a complaint in general about Resellers on Amazon that are blatantly lying about bedding. Numerous occasions I look immediately at the material and it states cotton, however, learned my lesson. When you read the description section the ugly truth comes out that the perfect bedding at the right price is infact the dreaded microfiber, one is ♻️ Coke bottle and the other is plant. I understand that Sellers are doing this because they want to be in the search results for cotton but it makes the whole function on Amazon Search useless. It ends up frustrating for the client going through hundreds of fake Sellers to finally find something that is made of the material as per the description. How many of these items are then returned or are they hoping that the Buyer would just take the knock? Is Amazon going to start to giving warnings and possibly ban them? Their exuse is always the same "we are small family owned business and bad reviews kill our business" when in fact you were dishonest. Someone that has over 12,000 reviews must be doing very well for a small business.

Nice sheets

The stripes for the twin size go across and not lengthwise like I prefer. They are nice sheets, but the stripes bug me. The king size has stripes going lengthwise, which is much better.

The best percale for the money

I gave these to my son and he loves them, especially in hot weather. Washes beautifully. Beats any synthetic sheet.

Cool. Beautifully cool.

If you sleep hot or live in a high temp locale, these are the sheets for you. Cool as a cucumber. Very well made and thoughtfully designed too. For example, the pillowcases include a flap so the pillow does not poke out and is well concealed. The only negative is the color. In this case it's a bit dull. We have now purchased a couple of different designs, and these are not as good looking as the snappier designs. Why the color is called "camo" at all is a mystery. But they are great sheets.

LOVE these sheets!

These sheets are Percale weave - not wrinkle-free or "soft" sheets as such. They have a crisp feel that is specific to percale and that I love, hence the 5 star ranking for "softness". The colour and pattern (coral basket weave) are perfect. Outdoor line-dried, they are relative wrinkle-free, as they probably are if taken out of the dryer immediately when finished (yet to be confirmed). Regardless, a few wrinkles do not distract from their comfort or appearance.

Love Lacoste sheets for my son! Wash up well and get softer over time. Amazon has the best prices by far from other online retailers or even brick and mortar stores!

Good Sheets

These are good enough for everyday use; fairly comfortable and I may buy more from Lacoste. A little bit thin (I can see the duvet pattern through them) but I'm OK with that. Four stars is about right, maybe four and a half.
