Cute costume, decent quality

I am 5’ 3”, approx 125 lbs, 36C. Since my shoulders and chest are relatively wide for my height, I figured a large would be the best fit after reading reviews about how small this runs. Ideally, a medium, or even a small would have possibly worked for me, so this seems more “true to size,” at least for my body type. Luckily, I was able to take about 3inched off the back and reposition the zipper. The dress is STILL a bit large, however, the fit is much better. If you’re unsure about how this might fit, I’d suggest do what I did and order a size (or 2?) up because this costume is extremely simple to size down as long as you have basic sewing skills! Fabric is very stretchy and not sheer at all. Decent costume-quality dress. Also, the large is possibly a bit longer than the small, so if you want a small dress with more length, it would be very easy to size the large down much smaller for a longer, but smaller dress.

SO STINKING CUTE

This was so cute! I did buy a petticoat to give it that poof that it was missing because it is just a regular thin dress but it is so cute and comfy! I ordered my regular size and was pleasantly surprised it fit with some room left over (typically costumes i always size up)!! i love it and i won the cutest costume award haha

Happy with it

Very good for the price I paid (although definitely not worth the $75 "list price"). It is shinier than you can see in the picture (it is a thick nylon-y looking polyester), and the darker pink is more of a hot pink in real life. When buying clothes I'm usually a 6/8 M/L depending on cut, but I ordered based on my measurements and the size chart (36/28/40 = large) and the fit was on the small side of just right (If your chest or waist is any bigger than those numbers I would order an XL). I'm a very full 34 DD and while it was none too big I wasn't busting out either. I tried adding a fluffy tutu underneath but it looked weird, I think I would have needed either something less voluminous or longer for that to work, but I just went without a skirt. I've had other Leg Avenue costumes that really can't be worn without something under because they are too thin/short, but this is more substantial (not see-through) and longer than those. I have short legs but it fell about 3 inches above my knee. The gloves and amulet are serviceable but the crown is junk (and definitely not the one pictured) and you should plan on getting something else for that purpose. My biggest complaint is the elastic on the sleeves - it cuts into my arm on the bottom and has hardly any elastic at all on the shoulder so it is constantly falling off of my shoulders. Overall I felt like it was a good buy considering the price.

So cute! And comfortable

This dress was it was just a little loose on the waist but it was still a perfect fit and super comfortable. It’s not a super cheap material like most costumes are I did steam it to get wrinkles out. I bought a separate crown because I felt the one it came with wasn’t as close to character but I kept the gem on the shirt. I am wearing a XL!

Pretty Peachy!

This was a really cute costume! Overall I had a great time wearing it and definitely ran into some pretty good looking Mario and Luigis, but no other princess peaches (except for a dude dressed in a group costume as the princess peach in mario cart - I was definitely the better of the two). So in terms of the actual costume: The costume I ordered fit perfectly, and I was really glad I went with a medium instead of a small. I wear pant size four and have a b sized top, so the sizes are always a bit questionable. If I had been any bigger I might have needed a large. The dress was a bit longer than it seemed from the picture (how she holds the sides out makes it look a lot shorter), but that was okay since i didn't want to look too flashy. The length also makes it so you dont need to buy fluffy underwear, although you definitely need those things that puff the skirt up for it to look cute though. The only things that I didn't like about the costume were pretty basic. Of course, it is cheap costume material (100% polyester), so it is very susceptible to snags, especially where you have to pin your broach. The sleeves have a lot of extra material because they are supposed to be puffy, which is great, but I ended up stuffing them with tissues because the puff looks dumb when its flat and if it isn't puffed one of the sleeves kept falling down. On the bright side, I couldn't play beer pong with my gloves on, so the sleeves ended up being a perfect storage place for them. Overall, great for a college party. It is easy, pretty cute, not too promiscuous looking, and unique. It was definitely a good buy.

I love it. But next time I need to get a M because this costume is a little bit small, normally when I buy from leg avenue the small is ok, but I think the costume is small by it self.

Perfect for me

It was good quality and fit perfectly for my body. I have big boobs and a tiny rib cage. I got a medium and it’s in Asian size for sure and fit my ribs like an extra small and my boobs which I was worried about. If you are a bit chunky though in the stomach.... this might not be for you. My ribs is an extra small and I got large. And it fit tightly and snug. For reference. If your a true medium.... get an XL Shipping came in on time and packaged nicely and nothing damaged. Love the quality of the clothing.

Missing items

Description specifically says 3 piece. Dress, gloves and crown. I only got the dress, the packaging was alreadt opened.
