Great costume!
Fit was too stretchy. Large is too big, medium fits waist much better but the red bust is sooooo much smaller. Went with loose fit large to be able to cover the bust. Wish there was a way to cinch the waist a bit.

Cute and flattering
I hesitated at choosing a size to order because I am always between a 2x and 3x. I finally went with 3/4x after I used the measurements on the makers website. This dress has parts that are stretchy and others that aren’t. It is a one piece and the black parts of the dress are and the red ruffles are not. Which is a good thing because the dress allows you to move around comfortably. It is a bit on the short side, even with the Leg brand petticoat I felt that i feel that under shorts are needed for when bending forward. The black straps are also stretchy and therefore I had to sew them tighter. The other reviews were right about the zipper issue as it doesn’t stay up. A hook would be great but the top of the red “shirt” is all ruffles and hard to add. It is cute and flattering for being plus size.

Let me start off by saying, it's so hard to find a cute costume for plus size girls, and this costume is perfect! It's very flattering! I've gotten so many compliments on it, and would definitely order from this company again. Runs a bit small, though. I'm a size 20, 44D bust. Typically wear a 2x, but just to be safe I ordered the 3x/4x. So glad I did because it's still a little tight, but not uncomfortable. If you're thinking about ordering this definitely go up a size! It runs really short in the back, so if you don't want your butt hanging out definitely wear some leggings. I didn't buy the black petticoat that was suggested and it still looks great. The zipper is a bit flimsy and falls down easily. I would recommend sewing a hook at the top. Well worth the price, though!

I found this dress on a completely different website, but it was over seventy dollars. I went browsing on here and found it for I believe it was forty-nine or the likes. The hat was cheaper as well, but let me tell you, though: I don't care how much it cost. This dress is amazing. And so is the hat. I bought the outfit for the premiere night of Pirates of the Caribbean 3 and to put it simply, all my friends are envious, all the boys are drooling. The only thing you need to be careful of is the bottom of the dress. If you have a body like mine, (a small frame, but a curvy one), your tush might want to pop out. It is short, but I wear skating tights with it underneath my fishnets (not included) and nothing shows. Also, if you live in an area like mine, the temperature can get quite hot. And while I don't run around San Diego in a wench costume on a daily basis, when I tried it on, I quickly got overheated and had to take it off. The only reason for this is that both the dress and the hat have velvet on it. Other than those two little things, this dress (and accompanying hat) is amazing! I highly suggest this costume over others.

Blasted zipper trying to show off the goods !
It fit as I expected it would however I just wish there was some sort of clasp of the back zipper to keep the zipper from undoing itself as it pleases. I will deff have to add a clasps, zipper is fairly flimsy and wont stay up. I will also be buying a tutu to make it "poof" out more its a little boring with out a poof. It does fit to size thou im usually a 2x, I regularly wear an 18/20 . I will say this thou it is short ! im about 5'5 -5'6 and the 2xl iss shorttttt i also have a huge rear so that doesn't help lmao . The poof im hoping will not make it so bad but im not to worried about length lmao . Non the less its going to be great for Ren-Faire! Only gave it 4 stars because of the zipper issue but its an easy fix.

Sexy, classy, quality dress!
This is a quality dress for the money. I like it A LOT! The material is substantial and it even has a zipper up the entire back. It fits perfectly and looks sexy yet classy. I ordered a large figuring that it probably runs a little small and I am glad I did. I am a size 6 in pants (used to be a 10 as of 8 months ago) but have big hips with a smaller waist. My bra size is a 36 D and the dress zips up fine but is snug. What I also like about this dress is that I can wear a regular black bra with it and be comfortable. I put it in the dryer on low heat for 10 minutes just to get some of the wrinkles out and it worked pretty good. I bought a black petticoat and I agree with others that it is a nice finishing touch to the costume and highly recommend wearing together. I bought the hat as well. The hat doesn't look exactly the same as the pic and was slightly misshaped in the package. But, I still like the hat a lot.

It won the contest!!
I'm 5'4 and 205lbs I ordered a Large and it fit perfectly! At first I ordered a 1X and it was far too large & returned it with no issues. Turned around and ordered a large, it fit perfect! I had many, many compliments! I won the costume contest!! Very comfortable, breathable, lightweight & has some stretch to it. I did take an iron to it (super light setting and barely touching the material) just to iron out some wrinkles on the arms and the arm ties. I wore a petticoat with it which made it poof out much better. Highly recommend!!

I just don't like how it looks
I bought a size 2X and it fit me very well with a little room to spare (I usually wear an 18). My only complaint is that the black bodice is made of that cheap crushed velvet looking stuff. I just don't like how it looks. Came with plenty of wrinkles from being folded, but it ironed easily enough. I bought a petticoat to go with it, but it had enough swing and shape without it!

Troppo troppo troppo corto....immettibile!
Ho ordinato questo vestito per carnevale ed è arrivato anke un giorno prima...fin qui tutto ok...Amazon sempre impeccabile! Il vestito però non è proprio come si vede in foto...la parte rossa del vestito è in cotone tipo quello delle camicie estive da spiaggia, mentre la parte nera in velluto ultra sottile, ma devo dire che comunque non è rifinito male...il problema è che arriva giusto all’altezza della.....!!!....ci siamo capiti!!! Io sono alta 173 cm e ho comprato una S che mi sta giusta tranne che per la “lunghezza”... e sinceramente non credo che una taglia in più avrebbe fatto la differenza...comunque nella foto sotto la gonna si vede del pizzo nero...sembra come un sottogonna usato per gonfiare il vestito, ma in realtà non è proprio presente... la gonna finisce con la stoffa rossa e basta...e non è possibile usare il vestito in pubblico, la lunghezza se così possiamo definirla, è immettibile...e io sono abituata ad usare minigonne esagerate...ma questa non la definisco neanche gonna...!!! Quindi detto questo, ho chiesto immediatamente il reso e lo restituisco! Personalmente non lo consiglio!!!... i forse se sei alta 150 cm prova a prenderlo!
