Addition to the family
This was added as we did not have it in our existing Christmas set. Wife was ecstatic when she received it.

It's a beautiful, well made, very big gravy boat. It should be called a gravy ship!
I bought this for our daughter to help her celebrate hosting her first Thanksgiving family dinner in her new house. When we went there for Thanksgiving dinner, this gravy boat, along with the Lenox matching platter, were on the table. They looked wonderful in that setting. I had no idea how large and heavy this gravy boat was. When I bought it I never really thought about the size or weight, and it looked to be like any other gravy boat that we have. It's heavy due to the thick (sturdy and strong) ceramic. But it holds19 oz, almost 2.5 cups while our other gravy boats are between 8 and 12 oz. Factor in the weight of the gravy boat itself and, when even half full, this will require an adult to pour; most kids would not be able to pick it up without spilling some gravy (hopefully not on themselves). Putting aside the size and weight, this is a very pretty and appropriately Thanksgiving or Christmas themed gravy boat and, especially when paired with some of the Lenox matching pieces, will brighten up any holiday table. Recommended, but make sure the kids don't try to use it themselves, it's an adult gravy boat. :)

Made in USA? - NOT!
This item is advertised as made in the USA. I was excited and deliberated for many weeks whether to purchase and finally bit the bullet wanting to have something special for Christmas. We purchased a whole set of dinnerware and wanted to add this item and other pieces of the design to complement and build our collection for this year is a special one for us. When we opened the dinner settings, imagine my sheer disappointment, surprise, and anger to find that NOTHING either in the box or outside said made in the USA. There was, however a sticker on the box with the barcode which clearly stated “Made in Indonesia” another item similarly labelled “Made in China”. Nothing against items as with most products today being made in China etc. but for the price we paid including the large shipping cost, this was NOT what we were expecting. The products are clearly advertised as being “Made in the USA”. They are NOT! On every cup and item were attached stickers stating “Made in Indonesia” or “Made in China”! I wanted to check with the company to find out more as I really hoped to be able to keep them and was told a pack of lies - “we source the materials in Indonesia/China and manufacture the products in the USA”. I questioned further as to why it didn’t say Made in the US as advertised and the same line was spun over again with subtle manipulation here and there. I would not recommend to buy this product, it is being marketed and branded on a company name that has been sold and resold, outsourced and rebranded to bear the name only. Today all boxes were returned, one by DHL pickup, the others we had to personally bring to a DHL drop off point! Needless to say, I will never again buy anything branded “Lenox”.

Beautiful Lenox gravy boat with matching saucer!
I bought this gravy boat to replace two other small ones which tended to drip gravy onto the table? I also love Lenox. This gravy boat is the perfect size to hold lots of gravy and doesn’t drip and even if it did it sits onto its own saucer to prevent that. Bonus! It looked beautiful on our ???? Christmas Table.

she wanted a gravy boat to match the set ....she's happy with this one.
She wanted the gravy boat to match the set we have. My only disappointment is that, on this gravy boat anyway, Lenox has put a narrower gold band on the edge so it's not an exact match.

Very nice and elegant dish
I wasn't certain, at the very good price, whether this was a good quality piece - a second - or what! When I received it I inspected it thoroughly. This is an excellent piece. Very nice, looks elegant, no flaws and a great piece to add to my Lenox Holiday set. I'm not a huge gravy fan, but my family is and now I have a beautiful serving piece to serve their gravy in.
