Not a Sealed Lid--It Just Sits on Top

Don't plan to store anything in here that might go stale. The lid just sits on the jar; it's not a sealed fit. Since I'm using it for decor, it's not a problem. Would be great for cotton balls or the like. But not food items.

Nice jar, but loose lid

I am using this for my laundry room pods on a shelf. The jar is nice, but the lid fits like it is too big. I read it didn't screw down, but it should at least fit when it's on the jar.

Yeah the QC does leave something to be desired ...

Oooohhh ... Kay. Several reviewers reported receiving poor-quality plastic jars, not the nice glass-and-metal as described. Others got what they ordered. I got both! Ordered four jars ... Received three very nice quality clear glass apothecary jars with metal lids -- and one very cheap plastic jar with a plastic lid and the company's blue logo on it labeled, "Applicators." Well, I guess 3 out of 4 ain't bad, but it amazes me that whoever packed this order could fail to see the difference ... The plastic jar wasn't even in its own box like the glass ones were -- it was just loose in the box. So, if you are one of those lucky enough to actually get what you order, here, it's a nice product.

Nice Little Jar

This jar was great for what I wanted -- no etchings or modern marks on it. It worked great for the use I had in mind. I only wish the lid connected better. It's SUPER loose.

Bought this for my daily contacts for on top of my counter. It's a perfect size, I fit about 30 days worth of contacts in the jar and my hand fits in and out of it.

meh....

i purchased this jar to put my cotton rounds in it. it’s a nice-sized jar and holds plenty of the cotton rounds. however, the jar is not level at the bottom so it wobbles on my vanity and the lid does not come with a plastic insert to keep it snug inside the jar so the lid lifts off with absolutely zero effort. for this reason i recommend you keep this jar away from small children.

Useless, DONT BUY

The media could not be loaded. This is absolutely useless!! Will be returning. There is no rubber in the lid to hold the lid in place and so it’s not airtight! What’s the point of the lid then?
