Nice set, but misleading.

We've had magformers before so I knew what to expect for quality, and these are nice pieces. However when it says 28 pieces, they are also counting the roof tiles (which are snapped on to a magnetic magformer) and the windows (which are snapped on to a magnetic magformer). Now, while I guess technically there are 28 pieces, the windows and roof tiles cannot be used without being snapped on to another piece. There are only 20 magnetic pieces. I'm going to keep it because it's still a nice set, and my boys will still enjoy playing with it. But I thought I would let everybody else know, so you aren't surprised like I was.

Insanely overpriced

It's a great addition to your magformers set. We had basic set, the one with spinners, wheels set to build a car. Being able to build a "real" kind of house with windows and roof looked amazing to my child. But to me as a parent it seems overpriced for 28 pieces and doors that do not open like when windows. $50 is twice the price I feel reasonable for this set.

Great value

Can't beat the variety of ways to play with this set for the price. Magformers generally are great as they are easy to construct for our 3yo. This set comes with guides for both building a variety of 3D models as well as 2D puzzles. We bought for our daughter then bought again for a gift!

Roofs, windows and archways are a big hit. Second only to the light up set.

I’d say these are a good value. We have three sets now and my kid loves to build with them. He’s about four and sometimes we still have to build with him but he’s learning. The car set and the light up set are big hits with his age range.

Great quality product

Love magformers! I have purchased several different boxes for my kids and they’ve loved them all. This one is especially a favorite since the kids can create houses with a real looking roof. So happy with the purchase.
