I Wish I Could Love This...

I wear the Maidenform long firm control tank daily. I purchased this and sized up because people said it ran small. Bad idea. It was too big after one wear. I then ordered a second one a size smaller, which fit the way it should. 1. You cannot get it on by putting it over your head. It's a no go without breaking your hands off your wrists being left with nubs. If it fots properly you MUST step into it. 2. The straps squeak. It's like having the squirrel from the tree in the movie Christmas Vacation on your shoulder all day long. Both the sizes did it. Two different colors. 3. The fabric is so soft, and it has rubber to keep the bottom in place, but it doesn't hold down its shapewear job after one wear. It's hangs it up, grabs a bottle of wine and sits in front of the TV with it all hanging out. It's an utter disappointment. This is a better length and is thinner than the long firm tank so it is perfect for under dresses or tops where thar matters. For one wear...as long as you don't mind your squeaky friend the shoulder strap squirrel and step into to it to avoid being stuck with nubs at the end of your arms. In summary, do not size up.

Don’t recommend

It does perform the job of shaping. However the material is strangle. It’s stiff and plastic feeling but it’s not plastic. I’m not sure how else to describe it. Because of that, while it will shape it’ll also create folds of the fabric where your skin moves because it’s so stiff. Depending on what you’re wearing that might not be noticeable but it feels strange. The fit is great. Very true to size and if not for the fabric it would be perfect. I like the camisole look so I can wear it under low cut shirts. I am keeping this for certain outfits but it’s not my favorite. There are plenty of other options for shapewear, even from this same brand that are better. Keep looking or get this on the Try Before You Buy so you can check it out first.

THE BEST KEEPS GETTING BETTER!

I have worn the Maidenform Flexees for years. I nursed 5 children for +/- 3 years each & started wearing nursing camis after the first few months with my first baby. The Flexees were AWESOME! I still have & wear a ton of them. These new Power Player Shapeware Camis are the next best thing! Actually, BETTER !! I’m a 36B & ordered a medium. Perfect fit! The Power Players provided more firmness, & were just as comfortable! The fabric is thin, smooth, & soft. I love the grippy thing on the bottom that helps the bottom stay put. It’s a bit shorter than I would like, & I might order 1 L just to see, but size M for me works great. I was not looking for new ones & I happily stumbled on the Power Players! I would give 10 stars if I could!

Creates a Smooth Silhouette!

Overall a great shaper tank. Smooths any bulges that are created by my bra and smooth the tummy so I look an inch or so thinner! Only problem is it rides up in the front since it only has two small silicone grips at each hip, which can cause a weird bulge in the front if you have a mom pooch like me. The back silicone grip is across the entire back it stays down longer. Kinda wish it was a body suit. I'm 180lbs, 5'4" and usually wear a large top and the large fit perfectly.

Supportive

I have a large bust but small around the ribcage (34 i in US) I am also tall and the ladies sit high on my body. I love this! Finally a camisole I can wear without a bra. The crossing straps option is great as straps are always too long. It does stretch after wearing so I only get two times out of it before washing. The rubbery stay in place stuff doesn’t work and comes off after a few wears. But, the structure of this gives me the core support I need for my bust. It is not a shapewear thing imo, other than smoothing and structure. That’s not why I got it though. I found it runs longer than others like this and true to size for these products. That means it runs a bit large compared to clothing. The large stretched too much so i will also get a medium. I am a size US 14. 5’7

Sizing way off

I normally wear a size 12. In this garment I needed to buy X-Large. That said I love it. No bra. It does give girl support. They are very long, smooths out lumps and bumps on its way to being tucked in. Bought 3 of them, returned every other brand/style. From now on this is my daily cami. The lace gives a feminine feel, can’t beat that

Wonderful Fit

Very comfortable and fits well. I like the tape that helps keep the shape wear in place. Great buy for the cost. Wash on gentle or handwash to be safe.

Pros: Does not roll up. Nice material. Cons: Bra pad inserts that move and are difficult for me to get completely flat. Thin coverage.

Delaminated on back U-strap line between straps within month - Maidenform ignores help requests!

Nice initially, love how it fits like a glove, but .... Beige Partially Delaminated on back u line between shoulder straps just after a month of receipt, unfortunately within days after the return window had closed. Tho NY Lingere made it Right and completely Refunded my purchase. Maidenform ... still have not heard back from them a month after urgent help requests sent.
