Only as much as you can expect for $10

This lock is exactly what it should cost. Only one locking paul, no shimming protection, and a very basic key. This lock says "I don't want you in here, please". If I was really worried about locking something up that needed this style of shackle, I'd just get a u-lock.

Easy to use

Didn’t realize the whole bottom comes off but it’s super easy to use and u can size it for what u need. We use it on one of our cupboards and it works great :)

Master Lock

This keyed padlock by Master is a solid piece of equipment, and it's a Master product. The keyed locks are very flexible to the point of a more tight fit since you can go further into the shackles. See pictures. The shackle is quite long should you have a distance to travel between handle to handle. However, great lock for a very reasonably price and it gives the place a more industry look and High Tech. We all remembered the school lockers and everyone was sporting a Master Combination Lock. Anything else was anything else. They came in all kinds of colors after the black and silver ones, and I'm thinking by now they must have plenty of exotic colors ones. I love these Master keyed padlocks because to me they are a novelty and different. Just remember, there is a key needed to open this keyed padlock. ????

Don’t put it on backwards

I bought this long shackled lock to replace a short shackled lock. We put the previous lock on backwards, and we could not fit the key in. Afraid to mess with a saw, We called a handyman. Took him 30 seconds to cut thin shackle… he charged $80 for the house call. if you put lock on backwards, with lengthier shackle, and if you don’t slide the lock all the way up, you’re likely to have easier access to unlock it. Next time I’ll buy a different style. That will avoid the stress of having to slide the lock on correctly. this seasoned company might have more happy customers if they would make the lock ends distinguishable. Suggest color coded or “this end up” or pointing arrows or….any easy solution.

It's an easy lock to use. Sturdy, heavy but the higher the lock the harder to get the key in but works well

It’s a long lock, it’s in 2 pieces which I’ve never seen a lock to before. Hurts my fingers real bad trying to adjust it for different “lengths”

Good lock for a shed

I have the exact lock I've been using for years and it did me well. This one seems to be no exception. The only thing is that the keys are not unique. You can use keys from other same models to unlock it.
