They’re sharpened but they put so much paint on it I had to grind the paint off. Otherwise it would’ve just folded the grass. For the price though I survive

Rebranded but that's ok

Rebranded but that's ok. I received 2 Copperhead brand blades with Maxpower part number sticker put over Copperhead sticker, but I dont mind, blades looks like good quality. Thickness is 3.61mm (9/64 in. or .1420 in.). Sharpness very good and will even be better when protective paint goes away. Fits perfectly my (canadian) Crafstman 42 in mower, tractor # 944.606042 (equivalent to U.S.917.287380). Suggestion : I would like to see stamped on blade ''GRASS SIDE''.

Thicker than expected

My spindle was bent so I went through a couple of sets of blades before realizing the problem was the spindle and not my lawn. Bought blades at Canadian Tire for more than what these cost and they were of thinner design. They fit my Crasftman YS4500 just fine, seem very sturdy, great value considering they seem better than Canadian Tire blades. Would recommend.. hopefully its a while before I have to order again.. BUT I WOULD ! ;)

Same as the take offs.

Put them on a mid 2000s craftsman lt1000 42" deck. Same length and weight as what I took off and they fit the 5 point star fine. My only gripe, the reason for 4 stars, is the cutting edges on each blade. One end is sharp the other is dull. Quick fix but still a bit annoying.

Manpower is subpar

Subpar product. Only purchased because of the "star" fitting on our lawnmower. Max power products aren't durable compared to other brands

Nice solid cutting blades.

Well packaged blades arrived quickly before the next cutting, Easily installed on my old Craftsman 20 hp 42 in. mower and the results were golf course show grade, I am extremely pleased with these solid ready to go sharp blades.
