Pretty Good for the Price

Even though I got it as a a used like new condition, it came in a new condition. My 3 years old son had so much fun with it and he made his necklace all by himself. I was so proud. So, I got another one again in used like new condition and I got a new one again. I think I just got lucky.

My 4 year old granddaughter loves them. Very nice kit w several strings to make many necklaces or bracelets and she gave them out as gifts. I would definitely recommend and buy them again. Bright. Colorful. Giftable

Fabulous wooden bead kit for kids age 3-8

These wooden beads are high quality and the strings are super easy to string the beads onto. My child has gotten tons of use out of these and even made some jewelry for family members. Yes, I DID wear the necklace in public and it was so much better than those plastic pony beads. I think Melissa and Doug makes good quality products and I also appreciated the great packaging. This set was a pretty gift. I will buy more- these would be great for preschool/kindergarten/1st grade gifts. Tip: throw some of these beads and the string into a ziplock and use it as a tool to pass the time when you are waiting for your food at a restaurant!

We bought this to use for grafts at my little 3-year-old's birthday party and we are very please with it! The little girls loved the vibrant colours and the beautiful shapes! It was a great success!

A hit at our house

There are so many good features about this set. It comes with clasps to create jewelry that is easy to get on or off. The string ends are taped (like shoelaces) which makes it easy for little kids to get the beads on. The beads themselves are big enough for little hands to handle with large well drilled holes. But, you will have to buy a storage case. I never will understand why Melissa and Doug uses such beautiful packaging that is completely useless for storage. Either use cheaper recyclable packaging or include lids.

Great for 4+

There are tons of pieces for jewelry making in this box. Plenty of string for necklaces, plus the pieces are wood, so very durable. I can't give 5 stars because: -It needs a case to store all the pieces -There is a plastic part on each end of string (used to help get the string through the "jewels) that is WAY too long. -The bigger pieces just flip over because they don't sit upright in the string. There's no way to keep them facing the right way.

Quality product, beautiful beads

Another great Melissa and Doug product. Colors are bright and vibrant. There aren't very many beads, which was disappointing especially given the price.

A creative gift for a 4 year old boy.

My daughter makes silver beaded and feathered jewellery. My 4 year old grandson was delighted to receive this exciting set in order to work alongside her. He only needed some help with the knots.

Have purchased this for nieces Xmas present. Looks as advertised. Hopefully she's as happy as I am! Much better looking quality then the major store ones anyway.
