Absolute hit!
This was a hit for my niece 1st birthday! Her dad actually had to remove it out of sight because it is all she wanted! The shapes had her whole attention, and she spent hours playing with them and trying to fit them in the correct spots!! 10/10 would recommend!

Wooden Chunky puzzle
I ordered this for my granddaughter for Halloween, instead of the traditional candy. She is 18 months old and has already mastered this puzzle. She loves taking the pieces out and putting them back in. She is learning the colors and shapes, along with having lots of fun.

Love Melissa and Doug products!
This has been my sons favorite puzzle since he received it last Christmas. We use it to not only identify shapes and how they fit, but also to identify colors. I try to make it more fun by him finding something the same color as the shape he is putting into place

My 12 month old luuuuuvs this
Bright colors, chunky shapes, perfect for little hands. Knocked a star off for durability because the paint came off the corners of some of the shapes very very fast. My son loves it so much though, and the price is so reasonable, I’d still buy it again!

Perfect for little hands
I have been searching for good puzzles for toddlers. I am a developmental specialist and work with infants and toddlers with special needs. I look for easy puzzles that have pieces that are easy for toddlers to pick up. I have always loved Melissa & Doug puzzles because they are always so well made and typically very age appropriate. I need puzzles that are sturdy and hold up well. I toss them in bags and in my trunk so they have to be able to take a good beating. Finding a simple shape puzzle that little toddlers hands can handle is not always the easiest. One of the assessment instruments I use, asks about toddlers being able to put shapes in puzzles. I am so excited to have found this one. It really seems to be a hit with kids. I really like this shape puzzle and have been recommending it to parents. Here are the things that I really like about this puzzle and using it for toddlers: - The puzzle has bright colors. This is great when using with young children to keep their attention. - When you take the puzzle piece out, the picture underneath is the same color as the shape piece. - The pieces are thick chunky pieces so even though it doesn't have the little knobs on top, small, uncoordinated hands can get them in and out. - The entire puzzle piece is painted so that there is not any raw wood showing. I have been using this a ton and the kids really seem to love it. I love that some of the shapes are super easy to get in, like the circle, so that children with a lot of difficulty with puzzles can feel like they are successful.

My son really enjoyed this puzzle. It's a pretty puzzle, it has bright colors but I hate the quality because it's poor cheap quality, not real wood but otherwise my son love it.
