Great fit, durable through lots of wash and wear!
Last school year (2014-2015) in the beginning of the year, I bought about 5 pair of khaki pants (size 8) from the uniform stores in our area and they did not last more than a few months. 1. They fit snug in the butt area from the start. 2. They only sold "skinny" pants. 3. Once washed they shrunk and fit even tighter. 4. They got holes in the knees with ease. I then decided to go on a search for some pants on Amazon that had great reviews and would meet the needs of my active Kindergartener. Because of what I read about these pants online, I was very eager to give them a try. Being optimistic, I ordered 4 pair for my daughter. I loved them. They fit perfect and had lots of room to grow. It just let me know that the other brand pants clearly were not made with good fabric or to last. These were a tad long, but my daughter is tall and growing taller by the minute :) and so I just had to fold the legs up a bit and it worked perfectly for her. 1. They do not fit snug in the butt area from the start, they are roomy. 2. They are not skinny but instead boot cut pants. 3. Once washed they kept their true size over and over and over... no shrinking occurred. 4. They never got holes in the knees even though my daughter played just as hard in this brand and pair of pants as she did in the earlier pants purchased. I am very pleased with this product. Now for the only negative... .I wanted to purchase some fresh pair of pants for her for this school year (same size and brand), but the price has gone from $16.99 to $24.40 a pair, which is a big difference when you want to purchase multiple pants especially when you know its the same pair of pants for $7.41 more. So for now, I will wait and just let her use her pants from last year because she still fits them and they will last for a little while longer.

Run very small!!
My fits comfortably in a size 10 in all other brands with room to grow. We put these on and they wouldn’t even come close to buttoning. Probably need to get 2 to 3 sizes up if you order these. That being said the length, material and color were all great. Just measure yourself before ordering because they are not true to size

A little small
They were a bit small. My daughter had to keep get button undone while at school because they were too tight.

Love them
Fit is just perfect for my 5 year old who has a little belly and they are comfortable for her. Was worried about the belt size too but the loop was bog enough for the standard belt

Decent school pants too expensive
The pants were a good fit. My daughter is pretty tall and She’s 11 so I wanted to fit some good pants. They were supposed to be a 16 slim but the pants weren’t very slim at all. They fit but are a bit too big. She’ll grow into them. But the S does not give you slim on the size as an fyi

I learned four days before a band concert that my daughter would need khaki pants. She can be difficult to buy for because she's one of those kids with mile long legs and a four inch waist, but I had to have something fast and we've been happy with Nautical pants for her in the past. These fit her as we hoped and are a nice soft fabric. Quality is very good. They looked great on her and will buy more as she needs.

Length is a bit short
The length is short but the waist fits as expected.
