Hard to Keep Clean!

It’s very beautiful and soft and fits my decor very well. It’s a great shape and size for an accent rug! The downfall is it gets very dirty very quickly, even without wearing shoes in my house. I tried washing it in the washer like I can with most rugs like this and it didn’t handle it well. I’ve had this rug for 2 months and a week and already need to replace it because of how dirty it got. I recommend it if you will have it in a place where it won’t be walked on often! As you can see from the pic, one side is really clean and the other is filthy. One side has been tucked under my bed while the other has been exposed.

The back looks & feels like Cardboard

I read dozens of reviews on this rug, the good and the bad. I did not see any that spoke of the backing. Therefore I will tell you... I have a REAL sheepskin, I have had it for 40 years. I have "faux" throw rugs too. YET, no rug I have ever purchased or seen in stores have ever EVER HAD A BACKING THAT looked or FELT LIKE CARDBOARD. I realize you get what you pay for, what did I expect for 33$-ish dollars? However, usually, cheapie rugs, you can still see the weave on the backing. If the backing of this faux is some fancy-shmancy organic recycled corrugated materials... then you all have succeeded. I'll give Kudos to the photos and advertisements on this rug. The photos are awesome. The rug, meh, not so much. It is not "plush" and full. It is sporadic and thinned out in the fluff, as though there was not enough fluff/material to make the rug. It is not PLUSH, NOT. IF YOU WANT PLUSH, keep moving onward. The videos are great, I was impressed; but the rug is not as the video demonstrates. I may or may not return it... As I said, 33-ish dollars... yet I am still disappointment.

Pros and Cons of Pelt Faux Sheepskin

I used this for hallway traffic (residence with 2 adults) and put a thick mat pad underneath. Pros: Super soft Thick on its own Beautiful color Cons: Repetitive shape cut out (reminded me of a chicken nugget) Doesn’t beat the feel of real sheepskin

Wet Dog Smell...

This rug's texture was nice and fluffy, a polyester - imitation fur material. However, there was an odor similar to a wet dog. Had to return.

Liked so much I bought a second one

I have bought two at different times. I move them around the house, currently they're on either side of my bed. Super high quality. Not sure about staining, but if I need a spruce up I toss in the dryer on air only.

The media could not be loaded. Obsessed! Love this rug! So soft & great quality! Speedy delivery. I got one for each side of our bed! Would be cute in front of his and hers sinks in the bathroom too! Or in a closet! ????????

It is super plush and comfy

This is just what I wanted. My son is always laying on his bedroom floor so I got this to go over his carpet. It is super plush and comfy. I priced these faux sheepskin and this was a great price. I would not put it in the washer. It's probably better to use this in a "less traffic" area. I will have to keep my black shedding dog away from it. She is trying to take this. I would spot clean with woolite if needed. I got the 2" by 6" and it is a good size. I just love it and may grab a few more.
