Leaks Like A Sieve

Ordered this because of the size as the one I have is just over 12 oz and needed a bigger one for a gathering we're having this weekend. Received the shaker a few weeks ago, washed it and put it away as my wife and I only need the smaller one when it's just us. In preparation for the weekend, I pulled out this 34 oz shaker and poured in some ingredients to let them "marry" in the fridge overnight. Gave it a shake and had about a tablespoon leak out of the lid and down the side. I figured I failed to put the lid on tight so I pushed it down hard and tried again with the same messy result. I guess I'll just have to use a spoon to stir the drinks as the "shaker" description of this vessel is misleading unless you like vodka and juice all over your hands.

Gets the job done

Bought this cocktail shaker as a christmas gift for my boyfriend. It was actually a bit bigger than I was thinking but has some great recipes on it. The top lid of the shaker has a black seal in it and it does get stuck on top after shaking and the steel piece comes off but the rubber black seal stays stuck to the top making it hard to take off. Other than that I would buy again.

Stainless Steel dial a drink cocktail shaker

Finally found a replacement for this cocktail shaker. We had one previously just like this, from a very high-end store, and a friend who loves martini's, put this in our freezer, to keep his remainder of martini cold....well, it broke/cracked the outside sleeve. So, don't put in freezer. It is a beautiful cocktail shaker, and I love all the drink instructions on the outside....just twist to the drink you want to make and there you have all the ingredients. It is a nice quality stainless steel cocktail shaker. Glad I found it. I would order again !!
