My 3 year old and I absolutely love this solar system
My 3 year old and I absolutely love this solar system. My daughter was already familiar with all the planets because she has an older brother and sometimes she picks books from her brothers shelf to explore. We also enjoy singing the solar system song so this was a great addition to add so she can start visualizing the size and distance of each planet from the sun. She enjoys the puzzle and has asked for it multiple time already. We only used the flash cards once when I had her match the card to the puzzle puzzle pieces. I appreciate that the planets actually come apart from the puzzle because it gives her an opportunity to match the planets to the words as well as have something tangible to hold and explore .

Piece missing and not the most up to date information
Content: First I like the little book and flashcards. However, the poster still has Pluto on it, with no information about it being a dwarf planet. The book does clarify it, but still it is misleading on the poster. Honestly they probably shouldn't even include Pluto for a set made for preschoolers. I talked to my 4 year old about the it, but I'm not entirely sure she understood the difference yet. My guess is that the sets were originally printed prior to the downgrade and instead of redesigning the whole thing the company just redid the book threw it in and called it a day. It's lazy, but I only have myself to blame for not looking at the description a little more closely. Product: The puzzle doesn't seem particularly well made. I had to be really careful punching out the planet pieces because it felt like the picture would easily separate from the base. Also, I wound up with two Mercury pieces and no Pluto. Considering they seem to be including Pluto in this set, I assume that was a mistake. Also, I noticed in another review someone was missing Venus. I do like the carrying case box that it comes in, makes clean up easy.

I just want to say that my 3 year old son and I absolutely love it! He loves the details in the pictures and loves matching the note cards with the pictures. I personally think it’s a great investment if your kid/s have taken an interest in planets/space. However, I’m giving 4 stars because the puzzle pieces were bent out of shape and they don’t fit properly,which means they don’t stay in place.

Good book and flash cards
Good but toddler was bored with it. Puzzle is one long strip - in order of closest & farthest to sun. The Pluto description in the book is awful. See pic attached.

This is a great product! Our child isn't even 2 and a half yet and because of this fun and colorful learning packet, he knows all 9 of the planets. When we watched Story Bots (YouTube kids videos) about the planets, our toddler even caught that they did not have Pluto! Very well designed product. Because the planets pull-out of the hard cards, it was a learning opportunity. Our child would ask, "Pull out Jupiter" or "Pull out Sun". Great way to teach very young kids who already have a high interest in outer space about the planets!

Good for twins too (with only 1 set)
I bought this as a gift for a friend's twins who just turned 3. They really grasped the names of the planets and were engaged. The friend had one child find the flashcard and the other find the puzzle piece; satisfying both children (without having to have two sets). I know she is seriously considering investing in the "Teach My" products after using it the first morning.

Fun teaching tool
We have loved this teaching tool in our home. My son was beyond excited to discover the puzzle that the kit came with and was instantly interested in learning. We hung the poster up and a few times a week go through the different planets and read about them. This has strengthened his interest in space, and I don't know too many 3 year olds who name their planets. Only down side is it does list Pluto ad a planet, and he doesn't understand why it isn't a planet anymore.

A nice set for pre-k
This was a great set and I used it for my 4.5 year olds at-home preschool learning. We enjoyed the book, puzzle, flash cards, and poster.

Good, to a point
My daughter still enjoys it, I was disappointed as the advertisement for it made it sound so much better. She has fun with learning about the planets, and this kit makes a good support for teaching

Disappointing quality.
This looked like a good idea however it is poorly executed. I have other products from this brand and they come with a pouch and are solid construction. There was no pouch with this one and one of the planets was damaged. The flash cards are too delicate for an enthusiastic todder and the poster as well. Would be more fit for purpose if they were made of card and not paper. Or at least laminated. Overall, I wouldn't have bought this had I known that the quality would be so shoddy. Disappointed with this.
