Order a size up
I initially bought her regular shoe size which turned out to be too small. I returned and ordered a size up. They have been washed a couple times and are holding up well.

Update: look very worn after light use. I washed them once, the section in front seems to unglue. Original review: Love these sneakers! They are what's I'd call European size - not wide and just right. Not for a hot summer weather.
