Solid, and fairly priced

This is a lot more solid than your typical entry knob. I use them on my multi-family commercial properties. Renters are hard on door knobs and tend to make them loose. These knobs have very solid mechanics and heavy duty springs. The metal knobs themselves and keyhole are also more solid. They also give added security. For $10 it's worth it to not have to mess around with knobs ever again once I put them in. The knobs have the same finish on the front as they do the back so they won't get that worn down appearance.

This product is a 2 3/4 backset only ! as in the lower description. It is not like a home backset that has two positionings. Other than that , it could have been a good product, I just cant use it and its too expensive to return.

Latch is too long and not adjustable. you can not open the door only with the key. You have to turn the key and then turn the handle and open the door.

Great product but BEWARE of the "backset"!!!

Very good quality but ONLY fits existing holes where its center is 2 3/4" from the edge of the door. That's is called "backset." Most household doors have a backset of only 2 3/8." This is not mentioned on the Amazon site but I found this on the Master Lock site: "The Master Lock No. BLC0932DKA4 brushed chrome classroom ball knob features a bump resistant [I love this] six pin cylinder and cylindrical construction for enhanced durability with a 2-3/4in fixed backset latch." I hated to return it because it's great quality.
