Excellent bed, but a lil pricey.

My dogs love this bed. Its design is sturdy and they love the gradual slope to sleep on and rest their heads (they hate flat beds). It is a bit pricey, but does hold up well. Nice, quality product.

Updated 2021: The price on this bed has gone up ridiculously since I began purchasing them. They were never easy to clean, but I find the quality of the zippers to be even worse on the last 2 I bought. Also, there is not as much padding between the sections somehow. I am SOOOO disappointed because these are my dogs favorite beds. But I'm not independently wealthy - so we're going to have to find another solution until the quality improves or the price goes down :( ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I stumbled on the oval version of this dog bed at Sam's Club about 12 years ago.... and the rest is history. ALL dogs - our dogs, my family's dogs, my friend's dogs, even puppies - gravitate to this bed. I have never seen a creature look so comfortable in/on anything as when we see dogs laying in these beds - and we are continually compelled to comment out loud how we wish we could achieve even a fraction of that bliss. Our friends brought their new puppy to our house and we were eating on the porch, so I brought a dog bed out for the puppy. They quickly commented, "oh, thank you but he doesn't like dog beds... we have 2 and he won't use them." That puppy was in this dog bed laying peacefully within 5 minutes. No joke. Our friends ordered one immediately. The puppy continues to adore it. Just one example of many of how much dogs love these beds. From years of observation, I think it's the oval curved shape, combined with the "ribs" of padding instead of just a solid layer of padding, combined with the solid bolster that runs around the outside. Dogs of all sizes can lay super snug and comfortably in this bed. The puppy that found he loved it was about 20 lbs. Most of the dogs that use them in our house are larger (45-70 lbs) , however I find that they are able to use the bed in about 30 different positions, and each way takes up a different amount of space. Many times even the 70 lb dog uses only half the bed because he's curled up, but is somehow still perfectly supported. That's where the magic comes in lol. I am a perfectionist in the worst way. I've probably read reviews for over 200 dog beds, and owned many - this bed is unique in the market (strangely... because it's not that bizarre) and I haven't seen or experienced anything that comes close to it. Fair warning - they're a disaster to clean - and I wish the company would fix that. Unfortunately - I can't say I'm giving them much incentive though - as I just keep buying their beds. It really would be super nice if they would listen to loyal customer feedback on this point. Stop looking and buy the oval version of this bed - you won't regret it. As a side note - I finally bought the circle a few months ago just to try it - our dogs do not like it. If they would make the circle's bolster the same as the oval's bolster, I think they would love it. But the edge of the circle is flimsy, and they don't like that it doesn't support them, and hold them in the bed. Maybe it would be different with tiny dogs, I don't know? But our medium and large sized dogs who LOVE dog beds in general because they e always had them, will often choose the floor over the circle.

Medium size better fit for small/medium dog. Corgi and smaller. Large fits border collie size dogs.

Best pet bed for an xtra large dog

Side supports are sturdy, bedding is soft and comfortable. Can usually get 2 years' use out of these beds.

Well made & seems comfy!

So far this is turning out to be one of the better dog beds I’ve purchased. Quality is there, nice thick cushioning all around. Have no idea though - if it does actually have any cooling benefits. But overall I would recommend this product.

Bed was ripped

I had to stitch the bed and it looked like it had been used and returned. I kept it only because our English bulldog loves these beds and it was the only one to be found. It was one of his Christmas gifts

Well made and looks great!

Just took it out of the box and I already love it. I have had many many dog beds and this one is so well designed and feels so expensive. It is heavy and the stuffing is sturdy (almost hard but I think it will soften over time). I love the way it looks, ahem b&w pin stripes anyone?! I got the large for my 65 lbs pitbill/GSD mix and I’m confident he has plenty of space to grow a bit more. He’s a digger so I don’t know how it will hold up to that because the top is a soft velour but we’ll see! In the time I took me to write this my puppy already feel asleep. He approves!

Weak Zipp

I bought this bed for our 9 year old golden retriever. He absolutely loves it! I washed the cover a month ago and everything went back together very nicely. 2 days ago the inner zipper split (that encloses the middle ring or gel foam. This was from regular use, not because the dog was picking or biting at the zipper. The zipper is pretty well concealed overall. Sadly this happened just a week after our product support window closed. Considering the price i was very disappointed that its no longer usable after 3 months. 5 stars for design and comfort, 1 star for durability.
