My puppy loved this until mommy had to take it away.
I kept this in the freezer most of the time and gave it to her 3 or 4 different times and on the last time she broke the side seam. The stuffing was bulging and I took it from her and threw it out because she eats everything and I did not want to add stuffing to her list of inappropriate meals. She did totally like it.

yChews until the thaw...
Our five month old "mixed breed" rescued pup is in a teething frenzy. This is our first real puppy and the constant need to chew has presented challenges. If this teething toy weren't sturdy, it would not have lasted the past two weeks because the pup's teeth are quite sharp right now. He's a loving dog with lots of licky, sloppy kisses, but the kissing comes to a stop. If we don't have a toy to chew on then, he'll start nipping at your heels, your hand, your nose...whatever is at hand. The toy is bright, strange, and pretty yummy in the pup's POV. Soak the toy in water, place in the freezer, then hand the toy to the dog when its frozen through and through. I remember giving our baby frozen teething rings when he was teething. I believe this toy is so much better for our dog.

My puppies favorite toy
My puppy loves this toy, if I had to guess it would be his favorite but the durability of it didn't last long. The ribbons have been chewed and some pieces have been ripped off already and my puppy is a small Maltipoo 8 week old.

GSD Puppy fell to sleep with toy by his jaw!
Rip is a 30lb GSD puppy in the picture I included. I wet and refroze this toy at least once daily if not more to keep him cool and comfortable when his teeth and jaw were small. He had a lot of swelling and tenderness in his jaw and muzzle at this stage. When he fell asleep with laying with his jaw I knew this toy must have been just the soothing comfort he needed. The little ribbons were fun on his tongue! Now that Rip is 50lbs, this toy is too small. It's still in great shape though. I will wash it and pass it along to the next puppy!

Perfect for a teething puppy!
I bought this for my daughter's puppy when he started teething, and it's turned out to be one of his favorite things. The only down side is that you have to remember to get it wet and put it in the freezer - not a product defect, just my own forgetfulness.

Great for teething
I wasn’t sure if my puppy would be drawn to this type of toy but he loves it! You can soak it in water and freeze it, but my pup doesn’t prefer it that way. He just likes chomping on it dry. He’s been teething on it for three weeks and there’s only minimal damage to the toy. A great buy!

Perfect toy
I love the material of this toy chew. My dog always chews on the decorative tassels at the end of my throw blanket and this mimics that. He also loves to play fetch with it. Perfect size for a toy breed.

Pet Stages Cool Teething Stick
They say: ‘Petstages Cool Teething Stick freezes to provide cooling relief for tender gums. The fabric outer layer is crunchy and fun when frozen and the mould resistant filling is perfect for freezing and washing.’ Dexter says: Textures and things that crinkle are unsurprisingly enticing for curious puppies, teething pains or not. Streamers, flags and ribbons add interest on this item and the option to pop this toy in the freezer to provide relief to pups with sore gums is great - in theory. I do wish it lasted longer, however, as this was the reason I bought this item. Even when frozen for hours, it’s only slightly colder and wears off quickly. It is easy to wipe clean and my puppy hasn’t managed to inflict any damage (yet?). However, that may be a simple case of him favouring his Nylabone Teething Pacifier over this one. In hindsight, I wouldn't buy it. Positive: - Fun design - Interesting crinkle texture - Easy to clean Negative: - Freezing makes little difference

Not very durable and doesn’t stay cold for long
The toy is a great teething toy, however the shorter tastes on the end aren’t very durable and my puppy easily pulled some of them off so I ended up cutting them off, so he didn’t swallow them. There is also the issue that the nylon material makes it difficult to soak the toy which means it doesn’t always freeze very well and when it does it defrosts and warms up very quickly. But it’s great while it’s frozen

Had to return, and return again
This looked like it would be a great chew toy. When the first one arrived with lose stitching up the edge, I thought it must just be a faulty one and returned it for a replacement,but when the reorder has the exact same fault I had to return that too! So I never got to find out if it would have offered relief because it wouldn't have lasted two minutes if I'd given it her to chew. Very disappointed.

My puppy shredded ribbon end within minutes.
The ribbon end on this had to be cut off within about 5 minutes. My puppy shredded and pulled on them instantly. Expensive for what it is plus fact it’s not long lasting. Puppy loved running around with it but didn’t help the teeth.

Pet Stages never fail
I have bought from Pet Stages previously for my two kittens. They are now reaching 8 years old and their toys/products are still going strong, even after heavy play/claws/biting/tug of war. So when my parents got two 9 week old Havanese pups, I knew exactly which brand to buy toys from. It was an instant hit and is perfect for them.
