Okay at first

Overall I love the dish set. Heavy, perfect size and beautiful design. Color was spot on. But looking at the online photos before purchasing them, I thought the brown edging was part of the stoneware itself but it is just brushed on with paint. Some of the plates have paint smears around the edges which is very annoying. I have had this set for close to a year now and already pieces are chipped and 1 dessert plate completely broke. They are very easy to chip/break. The design on the dessert plate is very pretty but depending what you serve on them, food gets caught in the grooves of the design and can be hard to clean. Pleased overall but definitely needs some improvements.

Great looking dishes

Love this set. Very heavy and well made. Like the look. Bowls are a bit deep for cereal. Love the color and generally pleased. The lunch plates have pattern so you do need to rinse for the dishwasher. No big deal.

Different color

Love the set I bought it to add to my other set. The only problem is the plates are white and the rest of the set is cream, like the other sets I have.

Rough edges of cup rim, all cup rims

I love the dishes however the rims of the cups have cracked and rough edges. Can they be replaced. My thought is quality control did not check the cups

Inconsistent color - very flat plates

I got these on sale for nearly 1/2 off, which is good because I'm afraid that's all they are worth. I got 2 sets because they are only a service for 4 and the first thing I noticed was that the brown decorative edging was darker one set that the other. After using them for a while I came to notice that they were more difficult to eat from than any other plates I had owned before. I know that sounds strange but here is the problem. These plates are quite flat which makes it hard to scoop up food like vegetables that slide around on your plate. Without a raised edge of sorts your food wants to slide off the edge of your plate. Sounds strange but try it some time. Too late to return, they will end up on a garage sale.

Beautiful and NICE quality

Much heavier than I expected for what we paid for them. They are perfect. Bought as a gift for my mom to go with her French Country kitchen. Very heavy and very pretty!

Beautiful farmhouse stoneware

This set is very pretty, with the lace like pattern and its slightly off white colour. I had no problem with the quality, so far, I have been using them daily for a couple of months. No chipping, and no grey marking from the silverware, like it is mentioned in many reviews. I do hand wash though (not a dishwasher fan), and use a plastic scrubber that would remove such grey markings. I am not regretting my purchase.

Vintage

I love the vintage look of this set especially stacking the detailed side plate on the dinner plate. The mugs are a nice hearty size. The bowls are a little large for breakfast but perfect for a soup or hearty salad.

Beautiful!

I love these dishes!! They are sturdy and well made and they look great! I really like that they don't get overly hot when you use them in the microwave. The bowls are deep and the cups are a perfect size. I'm going to purchase another set!

Beautiful Dishes ---1 Box came Damaged and 2 Plates were chipped

I am extremely happy with these dishes, however 1 box came damaged and 2 plates have small chips on the edges. I am wondering if possible, can I have these replaced? Or are you able to ship 4 more dinner plates to compensate the damages? I noticed the chip after the fact, and had already threw out the box/packaging. Thank you.

Arrived well packed with zero damage to any pieces. Durable, cute and well sized for hungry teens. I have also gotten lots of compliments!
