Fits Ikea Sortera perfectly

I am using Ikea Sortera bins for my trash and recycling bins. They are super convenient! I couldn’t find trash bags with a wide enough mouth for these bins, until I found these. They fit the larger 16 gallon Sortera bins perfectly! The only downside to wide mouth trash bags is that they can be difficult to close. You have to make sure you don’t overfill them so you have some room to tie them off. That’s not what these were designed for so I can’t dock any points. I’m just happy to have a trash bag option for my Sortera bins!!!

Rips Easily at the Seam

These bags rip too easily easy at the seam. Merely shaking them out of the bag to unfold causes tears at the seam. The thickness of the plastic is fine, but the weakest link would be at the seam where the plastic seems poorly joined.

Not Durable

These bags tears easily. Make sure you don't overload the bags or put anything g of any significant weight because these will not hold. Don't think that it's just papers and load these bags up because they will definitely tear with too much weight. You've been warned.

Clear Liners Make Keeping Recyclables Together a Breeze

The Plasticplace 14 Gallon Clear Recycling Trash Bags are working well for my needs. These shipped well with minimal packaging. There was no weird odor or chemical-like smells present. These are in a large perforated box that the bags are meant to stay in for ease of use and storage. The first few bags were a little tricky to get out as they were packed in pretty full but after those, they pulled out a lot easier. The bags are very wide at the top and more narrow (i.e not as deep) at the bottom. The narrow top makes it easier to tie these up once full enough. Do note there are no drawstrings or ties. They will need to be knotted or left open as a liner in your recycling bin. The sturdiness seems to be a bit stronger than your standard trash bag. I've had no cans or cardboard tear these up at all. I am unsure if these will break down and not all places may accept these so I am using them to simply store and dump out recyclables as needed as merely a liner /place holder to keep recyclable items together with inside bins clean. Another purpose I may use these for is to keep my yarn/clothes protected when moving and stored in a cardboard box. I don't feel the price is bad for these and for that and the purpose of convenience, I can recommend them.

Good for light weight recycling items only

The media could not be loaded. The photos saying Heavy duty quality and for heavy metal scraps both should be removed. These bag are thin, the best is for recycle bottles and cans only. Thank you for dropping by.

Did not like these recycling trash bags. They are too hollow/shallow and just are not a good size. Not enough depth. They feel awkward to tie and don't hold very much. Too big to use as a bathroom trash bag. I do not recommend.

Wide, not deep bags, hard to tie up.

These trash bag liners are different then what I expected! The tops have a very wide opening, but there not very deep. These look like a king size pillow would be inside this. Trash cans are deep, but not as wide as these, and the Trash spills out. There is not any ties, and the way to tie up the top is strange and does not work good for us! I also do not think these are Bio-Degredable! Where I live the cantainer that is shone is not use by our Trash company , and does not fit the usual taller Trash containers. Not sure how sturdy these are!

Wide and short

He didn’t cross my mind at these bags would be made to fit the recycling bin in the picture, so I was surprised to find out they were so shallow, but wide. I guess this is my fault, so I won’t take stars off for it, but keep that in mind. That being said, the bags are strong and durable and if you happen to have one of those recycling containers, they’ll be perfect for you. If you happen to have a standard trashcan, they won’t really work due to their shape.
