Great quality stool but didn't work for my use case

I was trying to use this Master Massage stool as a desk chair now that I've been working from home for a few months already. Overall I found it didn't work for my taste. You can probably sit on it for about 1-2 hours at a time, but I found sometimes I want to put one of my legs under the other, but there's not enough seat area for it being a 15" diameter circle. I also found because of the circular shape, my legs could start feeling numb due to less support on my outer rear thighs. I'm about 5'6" and the stool's adjustable height levels work great for me, so it's mainly the seating area that didn't work for me. I can list the pros and cons for me: Pros: - Nice and compact. If you have no room and really need a small chair, this could fit the bill. The bottom 5-star base is around 20" wide and the seating height from the floor to the top of the seat cushion is true to what they listed (17" to 23"). It's a pretty light chair too. - Removable back rest. I tried with both as a stool and a chair. I preferred to have the backrest on, but it's nice to have the option. Keep in mind the backrest does not recline though. - Overall quality feels like it was thoughtfully made. The materials, look and feel of the stool don't feel cheap for the price. Cons: - Seat area is not enough coverage for my build and height (140 lbs, 5'6"). It could be ok for someone with similar build, but I am betting that for most people overall, using a stool type chair for a 9 hour work day will likely feel exhausting. - Seat cushion actually feels too soft for me. It's almost like the Goldilocks fairytale where she had to pick something just right. When I first read the specs and it said 4" thick cushion, I thought that would be a plus. But in reality, I found it too soft and I would probably prefer something that felt a bit more sturdy; maybe 3 inch thick would be better? That's just my preference though. So it's a still a great quality stool. It's just a matter of preference for me which is why I docked one star.

Small and flexible

Purchased for my sister with temporary mobility problems due to an accident. Though probably not intended to be used this way. This chair rolls around her condo and kitchen very comfortably.
