This was exactly what I was looking for! And it was the exact color I wanted to match my door handle and the hardware I used for my room renovation! It’s simple, sturdy, and a shiny gold brass, just like the picture and description!

Solid brass
Not a lot you can say about the strike plate for a door. It is the size it should be and comes with the needed screws. Being solid brass, it will wear better than a brass-plated one. (The plating wears off, over time.) Looks nice & bright.

Perfect addition for freshly painted doors/jams.
So easy to install. Supplied screws have a slightly larger diameter as compared to what was originally used. Hence, a very solid fit installation resulted. The look of Freshly painted doors/jams really benefit from the new brass look. Sizing is exactly as advertised and the exact size of the piece being replaced. Only possible glitch is the color of the brass. Depending on manufactures of the knob set, the color tint of the brass might not be a perfect match to what it is replacing. Not a big deal and certainly an improved circumstance versus the black line of an aged worn out strike plate.

Installed on two doors and works just great
The slot it longer than the one we had and the lock latch fits and closes better with these ones.
