A great shoe choice

I have been wearing Propet shoes for many many years. With my 11 EEEEE feet, plus an orthodic, there are not a huge amount of shoe choices, but no matter what style I buy of Propet, they have fit and worn well. I have about 7 pair currently which includes a pair for the gym, a pair for walking, two pair for out and about, and a pair for gardening. Then I have a couple of pair, still in their boxes, to replace others when they get worn out. I have full confidence that whatever style I order, they will be true to size, fit well, with a toe box that accepts my orthotic and wears well. Secondly, they will look good.

Roomy forefoot and stable

I need shoes with flexible uppers and roomy toe box for my wide feet so I don't have painful rub points. These shoes work for those needs. I would prefer New Balance 928s but these Propet shoes are readily available and $60 cheaper. This Propet model has a true SL-2 last, wide and deep toe box with a narrower ankle area which helps the shoes to hug your feet and contribute to stability and comfort. Many of the other brands that claim SL-2 last (even new balance) are allowing the ankle area to be wider like a standard wide shoe which causes a loose fit in the back area. These Propet shoes seem to run a little narrower than other brands. The footbed enhances stability but does not have as much cushening as other brands of walking shoes.

Pleased with the purchase

These are marketed as stability shoes and they are certainly that. The fit is as expected but there could be a bit more room in the toe box. The inserts that came with the shoes provide very little arch support. I have a high foot arch so I replaced them with a pair of XStance inserts and it made a huge difference in the performance when walking. I take a daily four to six mile walks and I have found these shoes to be adequate. I've had them for about nine days so cannot yet say if I would buy them again.

Stability Walker Shoes M2034 USA 14 X (3E)

The shoes are exactly as described. I have worn this model of shoe for a number of years. I buy this shoe from Amazon because in New Zealand you can't get a 3E width shoe, only the 5E is available which is too wide. Delivered price was the same as the N.Z. retail price in spite of the freight and taxes. The shoes arrived quickly despite my choosing standard delivery. Overall : Great Service.

Shoes are great.

The only thing that disappoints me is the shoe strings needing replacement after just a few weeks of use. They need to consider a better quality of shoe strings.

I don't know if shoe makers suddenly started making shoes really skinny to be more "aesthetic," or if my feet have suddenly gotten wider, but I find that all the shoes I've been looking at recently have been way too narrow for my feet. I ordered this in XX-Wide, and half a size larger than my usual, as the product page recommends. It fits my toes nicely, but the heel is way too wide for me. I would say that if you have generally large feet, this would probably work really well. But for me, my feet just seem to be wide across my toes, so these are very loose in the heel. I added some high arch support insoles, and that has helped the heel area a little. I won't use these for long walks, but for driving or sitting in the office, these are very comfortable for me.

Well made , good support, instant comfort.

Purchased a half size up and wide fitting. (Green/grey 9 1/2 w) These fit my husband so well. He has Parkinson’s and diabetes and the shoes have helped enormously with stability when walking. They are not heavy but give his ankles great support. His feet are no longer swollen and they stay at a good temperature. Note … He does not do a great deal of walking, but for him (and me,) they are easy to get on and off and have been an unexpected bonus as we’ve always had trouble breaking in special shoes or having to adapt them. It was a case of putting them on and that was that . Happiness ! Normal trainers have too many challenges for him. Would recommend for anyone with the need for comfort and support, especially when facing a few extra challenges. ????

they fit a way too BIG

I have always wore a 10, but these fit more like a 12. Ordered twice thinking that it was just the one pair, but no, they fit a way too big!!!
