Best pinpointer I've used

Nce pinpointer, by far the best deal for the money. Nothing negative to say at all. Do make sure you have the cap twisted on tight if you take it into the water, at any depth. But that's common sense.

Says built in speaker, but makes no sound. Product said it vibrates, but it didn't do that either.

Would be cool if it had speakers and made sound like the description. It actually said in the manual that it only makes colored LEDs and also vibrates. It didn't do that either. Only the lights worked. Total PIECE of CRAP. 2 stars because it isn't totally broken.

Worth all your money and more

I’ve purchased many pin-pointers and this is my second Pyle after the first died on me. That Pyle pin-pointer and I had some good times together and weathered fairly nicely. Had it in the rain,mud,snow at the beach and dropped it a few times but it kept on ticking until one day it couldn’t take my abuse anymore :(. So I bought another one and I’ll treat it more kindly. The lights that twinkle as you get closer to your object is so nice and accurate . I have big hands and it fits in them perfectly.

El aparato es muy bueno,vale la pena la inversión, en realidad yo había comprado varias veces éste artículo,la tercera vez que lo compré estuve problemas,porque el artículo nunca llegó a mi direccion, le escribí al vendedor y me envió otro de nuevo,gracia al vendedor,muy buen producto.

Very Pleased!

I would love to be able to afford a Garrett Carrot or a White's TRX pinpointer but I just can't justify the high prices of those units. After doing a great deal of research and wading through hundreds of reviews, I decide to gamble $49 on this Pyle Pro Pinpointer. I could not be happier! It works beautifully and saves tons of time. The only thing I wish it had is an audible tone but for the price I'm not complaining. Great item at a reasonable price!

Works exactly as advertised.

The PMD64 works great, I'm very pleased. Gives good indication from just over an inch away, making pinpointing way easier. Only negative is, needs battery padding in the cap. It was easy to add myself.

Metal detecting

It is a Christmas gift so not sure how it works yet but I’m sure it will work just fine. I’m a first time metal detector enthusiast. Looking forward to using your product.

Newbie detectorist

Amazingly fast shipping from Amazon. So just got this pinpointer in one day and have not used it in the field. But playing around with it inside, it picks up everything I have put in front of it. Detection range is is a little closer to object than I expected. But I think it won’t be a problem.

Solid Construction

Picked on up for metal detecting. Way more substantial then my previous pinpointer. Will be trying it out this weekend and will update more then.

Does not detect even large flakes of gold even on direct contact, seems ok for ferrous metals.

Purchased for gold, no good.

Bastante útil y barata

Apenas lo he probado 2 veces, el día que llegó y hoy mismo, en ambas ocasiones funcionó muy bien para su propósito: encontrar objetos en agujeros donde obviamente no puedes meter un detector. Pese a que soy nuevo en esto de la detección de metales me entró la curiosidad de saber que tan bueno es este aparato en comparación con otras marcas y realicé algunas pruebas de distancia: Detecta monedas de 10 pesos (mexicanos) y 50 centavos a 4cm, monedas de cuarto de dolar, un peso y dos pesos a 2.5cm, objetos un poco más grandes a aproximadamente 4.5 cm, y finalmente objetos tan grandes como la cabeza de un martillo (oxidado) a 7 cm, todo al aire. Luego le pregunté a un amigo que lleva ya tiempo en esto como funciona su pinpointer en cuanto a distancias, para no hacer el cuento largo, con los datos que me dió llegamos a la conclusión de que su aparato le gana al mío en promedio por .5cm a 1cm máximo de distancia. Le presté mi pinpointer y se sorprendió de lo bien que funciona en la práctica, no le pide nada al suyo pese a que es bastante, pero bastante más caro (no diré la marca porque según me comentó muchas personas son fan de la misma). Me dijo que su aparato, es decir el caro, cuesta lo que cuesta por ciertas prestaciones como la discriminación pero que en realidad el mío, para su función principal va más que sobrado. No parece frágil y supuestamente es a prueba de agua, lo mojé un poco (no lo sumergí) y sigue bastante bien, igualmente no tengo ganas de estarlo sumergiendo.

worth it

This pinpointer is very impressive can find all types of metal very easily. I am impressed that it is waterproof and that it does not make annoying sounds like others do, I prefer the vibration and lights over loud sounds. In my opinion its a great tool for a good price.

Detecta a una discancia de 15 centímetros Baja densidad pero detecta . Solo vibra y sería excelente que tuviese sonido . Me gusta por qué va cambiando color de led cada vez que te aproximas a un metal
