Frayed seams and edge

I have used Ritz products for decades and still own and use them. I bought some new fun colors expecting the same quality. Sadly, 10 months in the corners are unraveling and fraying. Still like the colors and cotton quality-just not their manufacturing anymore.

I wouldn't give these as a gift because they are just dull as a present. However I wanted some towels that were absorbent and would dry easily and I've got them!

Rough fabric otherwise ok

These are made from cheap fabric. It feels stiffer and thinner than my previous towels. Otherwise dries pretty good.

I Don't Understand the Bad Reviews...

I almost didn't buy these because of the one and two star reviews complaining about quality, lack of absorption and being ruined by washing. But I have now bought two sets, used them daily, and washed them over several months, drying them on both medium and high heat. They are in perfect condition, they wash up beautifully, they dry dishes wonderfully, and they are exactly the color they say they are (which is the color I wanted and could see on the computer screen). So I don't know if at some point the company changed its manufacturer or improved its quality control. All I can tell you is that they are great towels and I will probably buy them again.

Perfect kitchen towels

These are great kitchen towels - good for everyday use. The blue is really nice. They absorb pretty well. They also look nice if you just want to use them for decor

These are a good fabric for tea towels

These are a good fabric for tea towels, however I washed them first before use and 3 of the 6 unravelled at the edge seam and the fabric ravelled. Fortunately I sew, so was able to fix the problem. I kept them simply because the fabric is the kind I like. Matching dishcloths which I ordered separately, were perfectly fine. Would definitely reorder. PS: Would have given these 5 star had I not had to resew the edges.
