Works very efficiently.
We have a cat and carpeting in select rooms plus stairs. Cat owners immediately know where I am going. Cats tend to pull at carpeting with their claws and these scissors do a great job of trimming any minor frays.

Great Pair of Carpet Scissors
I recently purchased 2 Mohawk area rugs and pads. I originally trimmed the pads with a pair of regular 7" scissors. It was tedious but worked. After the pad and rug settled (about a week) the pad needed trimming again and the regular scissors failed miserably, incapable of trimming the 1/2" needed without the pad folding under the blades. Saw this pair and am not disappointed. A sturdy, heavy-duty pair of scissors that cuts a clean, straight border. Even trims small irregularities left by the regular household scissors. Originally, I was thinking it's too much to spend for what would likely be one-time use. After spending hundreds of dollars on 2 quality rugs and pads, paying $30 for a quality pair of scissors to keep the borders "clean" turned out to be a good investment. I suspect these scissors will also come in handy for future use. Great addition to the toolbox.

Weirdly satisfying
I felt this was a bit pricy, but they are very good quality. Very sharp. Great angle for the purpose of cutting loose carpet threads, of which I have many thanks to my cat, compared to regular scissors. It is weirdly satisfying to remove all the loose threads. Carpet looks almost new again.

Worked well to repair cat snagged carpet
Our cats had scratched up our new carpet and created lots of loose & frayed carpet threads that looked awful. I was able to quickly & easily snip these fibers, and the carpet looks much better! The scissors are very sharp & easy to use.

These scissors are amazing for cutting off the tufts of carpet from cat scratch’s. Nice and sharp and easy to use.

These are my 3rd pair in 30 years. They probably one of the best made shears for industrial heavy use.
