It's Okay

I like it better without the hood. The utility belt was too big. Other than that, I like it.

Go a Size Bigger

I was going crazy looking for a standard/large size as it fits with my measurements. I got the XL because I figured it wouldn't be a big deal if it was a little roomy. It ended up being just the size I needed. I had read another review about a costume from Rubie's Costumes that essentially said the same thing. I am not disappointed. It was a lucky mistake.

Fantastic Costume

I NEEDED to be Robin for Halloween, and as a woman, my choices are sexy Robin or super sexy Robin. I'm so happy I found this costume! I'm 5'2 & 165lbs and I ordered the Standard size, which I guess is equivalent to a Men's Large? The costume was shipped with a really nice garment bag & all the pieces were in great condition. Received a LOT of complements on this costume, no really, like, a LOT. I never get comments on my costumes and people were crossing the street to check it out. The only reason I dinged the review by a star was because the clasps on the cape were pretty lousy, the stitching on the clasps was loose and came off completely on one side. I fixed this by stapling it shut LOL. For any other women looking to be regular vs. sexy Robin, here are my notes: >Cape is LONG. At 5'2 it was touching my heels >Gloves are pretty darned big (Mens Large, which is totally appropriate for the purchase!) so I would recommend buying gloves separately >The tights are pretty generic, you'll be much happier digging your own tights or leggings out of your drawer >More on the cape... The neck/shoulder area is very broad - probably something to do with being made for a man - and I had to rig a system to keep it from choking me. This involved using a Y-shaped sheet holder like suspenders. No, really, it worked great. The top points of the Y were clipped to the inside of the collar and my bra strap and the base of the Y clipped to the back of my leggings. This sucker didn't move and looked great!.

Nice Costume

This Robin costume has the classic yellow cape. I prefer this color over the black cape in other Robin costumes. Note: if it is hot out, you will sweat a lot. The tan pants for the costume were too small and tight for me to fit into. You may have to order larger tan pants separately. I am very happy overall with my purchase. It was a great Halloween costume especially to take a selfie with alongside my cat dressed up as Batman.

Took a chance and I'm happy I did

After reading all the negative reviews I really took a chance on this costume and I'm happy I did. I would say the costume is almost 95% accurate to the picture. Colors and material are good. You can't beat the price on Amazon. I've looked on a couple other websites and I saved roughly $30 on here. I went for the regular/standard size. To give you an idea, I'm 6'1 and 230lbs pretty muscular guy. I did need some help putting the shirt portion on but it fit. My only complaints is there appeared to be some slight glitter on the gloves, I'm not sure if this is intentional. The mask looks slightly thinner then the one in the picture. The green shorts look like granny panties. If you have big legs you may be able to fill them out so the bagginess won't be as noticeable. Not really a complaint but I'm not sure why the shirt is made out of silk. The original Robin outfit was made out of another type of material judging by the original TV show pictures but whatever. Overall I'm satisfied with this purchase.

very High Quality

I am going to use this to go as Robin for halloween, with my 10 years old who will be batman. I love the idea of the reversal. Tiny Batman, Tall Robin. The Batman will be Brave and Bold, masquerading as TV original, think Blues and greys not Blacks. Anyhoo, this costume, Holy crap, this is CosPlay quality not simply goofy Halloween quality. I am 6 foot and 210 lbs, this (the standard) fit well, a bit snug across the chest, but still okay. But this is quality. It comes with a very nice shirt, and cape. There are shoe covers, tights (!), trunks/shorts and a belt, the belt alone is high quality metal/pleather. Even the mask is high quality. Seriously, I could wear this to ComicCon for a day. I was really surprised and very happy. cannot recomend this enough to folks. If this is for a party, you will be happy with this purchase. You will look incredibly goofy, this is the 60s incarnation,. but you will look goofy with style and panache!

Holy Moderate Quality, Batman!

As with the other Grand Heritage costumes, expect to spend a little time tailoring it to fit. I purchased the Batman costume and my wife got the Robin one (5'8" 140 lbs, very athletic build). Most things fit fine, but there was blousing in the shorts so we ordered a pair of green spandex shorts to replace theirs. We also had to order a pair of green satin gloves, the ones that come with this were basically dish gloves. But the rest of the costume was good, we cut the belt to length and tailored in the back of the shirt to fit appropriately (easy to do with safety pins for marking and then stitching up). The cape was too big around the neck, but that could be fixed too. Overall, it's good for Halloween but if you were expecting a Con quality outfit move on. You should also expect to spend at least an hour or so to get the fit right and probably replacing a couple pieces. But we're looking forward to Halloween with the alterations now. Holy Batman '66 costumes Batman!

looked decent after a good ironing. slippers were not meant to fit over shoes unless you were planning on ruining them FYI. I did buy a mask from a halloween store as the ones that came with these really bugged my eyes. Holes were too small and were bending my eyelashes weirdly. Overall I'm satisfied though. My girlfriend went as Batgirl and we danced the night away. Mind you the pic is after a few wobbly pops ;)

Good quality, perhaps not for the price however.

The costume fits fairly largely, but it's not so big that it looks ridiculous if you're the standard size or anything. I'll go through piece by piece on how good the quality is; The mask is awful, I've seen better in the pound shop, I can't understand why they'd let the product down cutting corners on something that would be inexpensive to make really good. The cape is good, although it rides up a lot and ends up leaving a gap between the top and the collar, which looks kind of strange. Tunic is good, but has a weird shine to it, and it is a little large, but otherwise good quality. The belt is absolutely enormous, it could fit at least a 46" waist! I can just about fasten it on the last bit of velcro on a 32" waist, but will need to cut the excess off as it goes almost back to the centre buckle with the excess! The briefs are really good quality, but again have that weird shine, and a little bit big. but they still look good and if you pull them up a lot you dont notice they're too big really. The gloves are great, feel like proper leather. The tighs are probably the best quality article in the costume, they're very thick and about the right colour. They don't have feet on them, which makes them easier to get on. The shoe "covers" are barely covers unless you have miniature feet, but they will fit fine as shoes, maybe a little on the small side however. Overall, it is a good item, but overcosted for what you get. I would say £75 would be more reasonable, maybe £85 if they got rid of the shine on the main body and made the mask wearable!

False advertising!

The product displayed on Amazon WAS NOT what I received. It was a far cry from the image displayed. It was in fact a one piece outfit no where near the product advertised. So be careful before ordering !

Great costume! My husband looked awesome. The beige tights could have been thicker as I don't think that Robin had quite such hairy legs ;') but it was awesome!

Not good quality.

It was missing one of the oversized boot covers. The fit is all wonky in the shirt (doesn't fit like a normal t-shirt. It's just overall not very good quality and not worth the price.
