I don't know how to describe the gloves other then they suck, and the mask doesn't cover the full face
I just purchased this costume for Halloween and thought I would leave a little feedback since I'm rating it 5*. First, I should mention what I got was a completely different costume than what is advertised. If your heart is set on the costume that's in the photo, I would advise that you move on because you'll get something that's noticeably different. A disgruntled user posted a video in their review in the same costume (the one that was actually shipped to me) and I think it accurately depicts what can be expected. It's baggy, the coloring on Sonic's skin is more yellow then what is shown in the photo, it's a 2 piece (shown as a 1 piece), I don't know how to describe the gloves other then they suck, and the mask doesn't cover the full face. I rated it somewhat large because the photo makes it appear more slim-fitting then it actually is. Now that I got that out of the way I would like to explain why I rated it as a 5*. What was shipped to me was actually my first choice when I set out to find and order my Sonic costume (I've been wanting this particular one for a few years now). The one I wanted ended up being 100 bones and said would take 3-5 weeks to ship (I would likely miss Halloween). It's big and goofy, doesn't really look like sonic thaaaat much (but it's still obvious who I am trying to be), and since it's a two piece I can go to the bathroom easier while in costume. Halloween is gonna be sick. Like 6 or 7 years ago I was at work listening to the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 OST and my co-worker Armida asked me what I was listening to. I told her Sonic 2 and she told me I am a weirdo. Well who's the weirdo now, Armida.

Shameful
I do not write reviews often but this one needs it. First off the head does not cover the face and the face on the ad and page is not the same face. My face came with one black stitched on eye I guess the person making this did it fast like Sonic. The black eye was not what was even suppose to come on the face of you look at what is advertised. I had to cut the eye and have none just to try to make it work. Poorly made!

My 14 year old 150 pound and 66 inch son is happy with this costume. He is autistic and his current favorite character is Sonic. The gloves are huge, his only worry. The chest is wrinkled but it is hanging up in hopes that wrinkles will come out by Halloween. I am going to steam it. The costume is big on him, but if worn over other clothes works fine. The hat fits best with eyes over his forehead. When I pull it down and around his nose so the eyes are in the right place, it pulls his nose and upper lip up. Overall the costume is cute and for the money is good. I also bought the 3/4 vinyl mask and of the 2, he likes this hat better.

Different from pic but still nice
Costume is different from what is pictured but my son loves it. I would have given it 5 stars but the head piece is a little small. The velcro that attaches under the chin keeps coming undone because of it. Since he loves it so much, sewing a pc of elastic to make it a bit larger shouldn't be an issue.

Sonic rules!
Got this for my son for Halloween - he loved it! It was a bit too big but I just hemmed the cuffs. The one sleeve had a cuff that was not sewn at all?! But I didn’t care bc my son was so thrilled - I just rolled the sleeves up. A bit pricey for a costume but worth it bc he loved wearing it so much!!!

Amazing! if you’re wanting a joke costume
On Halloween of senior year I ran around my school in the hallways with a speaker in my backpack playing sonic music and making jumping and falling sound effects when I jumped and fell in the hallways, people loved it! The head part of the costume was a bit too small so I had to cut a hole through the head where there was some stuffing, then it worked out alright, although the nose on the suit constantly pushed my head up. I’d say it’s worth the price if you’re going to be using it multiple times, which, I feel embarrassed to say it but I’ve used it quite a bit.

Decent costume but head piece was to small.
Overall the costume was decent. The material was fairly cheap but all of the costumes are built that was. We purchased this for my 15yr old son. The costume fit well and was actually big big which was nice. The downside was that the head piece was really small. It didn’t fit properly on any of the adults we tried so we had to alter the chin piece for it to work.

Looks like s*** and mediocre quality... I love it.
It's garbage. To be fair, I WAS looking for a s***ty Sonic costume so I'm not even mad. Should people actually want a good Sonic costume, do NOT buy this one. I got the headpiece but it's as if they took a child sized headwear and packaged it with an adult sized costume. It looks terrible (nothing like the pictured version) the gloves look deflated and weird (I look crippled when I wear them), the shoes are shoes cover and not part of the pants It's terrible It's gonna be perfect! A bit expensive for a cheap knockoff though. The only thing I mind is that I had to pay that much for such a s***ty Sonic costume.

Pricey but worth it
Bought the XL large for my son because I couldn’t find his size. I Altered the costume to fit him nicely. The only thing I don’t like is the head piece, it’s too big to wear it for school halloween party. So I decided to make him the headpiece. My son loves lt and he is happy and excited to show to his class.
