Very nice well made
The size 11 are more like 10.5 so don't wear often but they are very well made and comfortable except then ends of my toes. Go up .5 a size and you should be good ????

Eyelet broken immediately, boots are true to size
The eyelet broke the first time I wanted to wear it. I shipped it to another country where I currently work. Fortunately, I was able to fix it in a local atelier. I read that it would be better to go a size up. To be on the safer side, I purchased it a half-size bigger. I wish I would purchase it my normal size. It's my personal experience and opinion. Broken eyelet is also my problem ???? Boots are great btw. Happy hiking!

Good hiking boots
Salomon makes great hiking boots (and other footwear as well). It is light, durable, waterproof, and doesn't break the bank when it comes time to pay for it. I'm pleased.

Seem too tight if you lace them tight like normal
I use them for working construction. I'm a manager/owner so walk a lot. They feel clumsy and they just hurt my feet. I do have some nerve damage in my feet but these seem to make it worse. I wore them thinking they would break in but after about a month it hasn't happened

Fantastic pair of hiking boots!
Lightweight, comfortable, fit very well, purchased 9.5 and I am usually a 9.5 so all is good. Would definitely recommend. L :-)ittle expensive for me, but I guess you get what you pay for!! :-)

Poor fit
I returned this item as you know. They were a poor fit (which was very odd as I have the Salomon X Ultra in a trainer and they fit fine.

Good footwear but I've had better
These boots are fine for short general use such as walking the dog. Somehow, my feet always seem to be pushed to the front, jamming my feet into the toe box and making heel rub a real issue. For anything more strenuous, I still go back to my old Salomon X Ultra 3 Mid GTXs. The Salomon X Ultra 4 Mid GTXs are also a definite step backwards from the 3s, in my opinion. I soooo wish they'd make the 3s again.
