Deceitful about "Original Size" dimensions but otherwise spot on!

They claim that the dimensions of the "Original Size" sculpture is 11"x6"x7" but you can clearly see in the photos that it is incorrect. The way they measured was very wrong in itself once I realized how they actually measured; by going from the rear left, over the back, wrapping around the front right to the right paw for the 11" length - from the left elbow to the tip of the right ear for the 7" height - and I'm still not sure how they got the 6" width measurement. If it wasn't for the fact that this sculpture happened to be PRECISELY accurate to my dog, even down to the eye color (besides the fact the her ear fur is much longer), I would've returned it because it should've been bigger according to their measurements and I don't appreciate being lied to. Overall, for the quality of the sculpture I definitely think it's worth the money. Plus it's much heavier than expected.

Absolutely Beautiful replica of beloved pet...

Beautiful! This is to be a tribute & loving reminder of our beloved Sundance who passed away a few years ago at 12 years of age. We think of our sweet girl every time we see her lovely replica lying on the mantel in the midst of ivy vines along side of it's black counterpart which represents our current fur baby, Schotzie. ( also from Sandicast) It is a large figurine, more like a small statue...it draws the eye...everyone notices it and comment on the beauty. All our family who visit recognize Sundance & Schotzie immediately. Excellent quality, just gorgeous! Hubby and I are very pleased. Wonderful way to immortalize a beloved pet. Craftsmanship is just simply elegant and breathtaking.

It looks BIG but it is NOT!!

I saw these in the store and I took a picture of the dog on Amazon and it came up to be looking like it was up to my (Knee), I was very disappointed in it when it showed up, I had a former sealed German Shepherd for 6 1/2 years and the dog just looked exactly like my liberty and I rushed and ordered it, it would be OK if it was going to go on a desk.

Packing

Everything was absolutely ideal, great product, super lifelike. However when it was shipped, a piece broke off the dog's foot. Since we found the piece, we glued it back on, but the packing while it looked really sturdy was really mishandled causing the chip. Since it seemed way too complicated to send it back, we just fixed it and our "boy" sits proudly on our patio. Great piece.

Very life-like and cute. However, as with a previous buyer (reviewer) the Shepherd's left front leg was completely, and cleanly, severed at the knee due to poor packaging or mishandling. Can you recommend a glue for this Sandicast resin material so I can put humpty-dumpty-doggie back together again.

I ordered this because it really is a great looking sculpture and it's the first I've seen that reminded me of my White German Shepherd. I was kind of confused because the description says "life-like gray schnauzer" but I decided to go ahead and order it because it says White German Shepherd in the item name and the item picture shows a White German Shepherd. The sculpture resembles the item picture for the most part. But the sculpture is not white. It is gray. The underneath flat bottom of the sculpture is white. The item picture is white. There's no getting past it, the sculpture I am looking at that I received is not white, it is gray. So it will be going back. VERY, VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED because I really like the sculpture and I've been looking for one for a long time.

Beautiful Piece.

I lost my girl, Shetti, at only 7.5 years old to a horrific cancer. I purchased this piece in her memory, and have been so happy with it. It's a nice quality and size and weight to display on a shelf or entertainment stand. I went as far as personalizing ours, painted on some markings our Shetti had, even had a cat collar made to match Shetti's collar. It's a piece I think any white shepherd parent would adore.

Just open the box and the dog is broken! Very unethical seller !

I dislike the dishonesty of the seller and the cost of this ornament is not cheap! Totally spoilt my Sunday!
