Schlage privacy lock

Positive side: Was very easy and quick to replace existing lock, fitted perfectly. Negative side: Amazon ships these Schlage privacy and passage locks/levers in original Schlage manufacturing box, which is very flimsy; one of the locks was clearly taken out of the box - there were fingerprints on the levers; one of the locks was damaged during shipment and had to be reordered by Amazon causing delay in getting it. There is no option to ship it in Amazon box, like for other products - why not? go figure!

The door lever set is perfect to match the rest of my house After I had placed the order I got an add popup for the same set at 24.99 each 50% off what I had paid To return and pay costs wasn't worth the effort So did not like that

Schlage Levers are Easy to Install, Great Warranty and Fabulous Customer Support

I purchased a couple of these Schlage Avanti Privacy Levers. I istalled a restroom in my basement and it is a two entry design - this particular style of lever matched what was used throughout the house. We trust the Schlage name, they have great instrution videos on You Tube to help with installation or if you need to reverse a handle. Schlage also comes with a great warranty along with great customer support. Amazon shipped the levers quickly and they were packaged to protect the finish and the working components. Great Price! Well built, looks and functions great.

Looks and functions great. Feels solidly built. Easy to install with just a screwdriver. Also easy to swap the door handles around the other way. Just push in a pin (tool included) and the handle slides off. I'm in the process of replacing all my door handles to the lever style. Makes it a lot easier to open when your hands are full.

Should have replaced my knobs years ago!

These things are great! They work well and facilitate no-hands passage through a door because you can open it with your elbow. We put one on our front door and use a deadbolt for security as needed. Two arms of grocery bags and you can still open the door.

Good fit form function, allows for left hand french door application..as in advertisement

A nice affordable set to replace weiser exterior metal handle that fatigue broke after 15 years... we will see if this is ' lifetime'. Not the cheapest nor most expensive Non Tarnish Brass finish looks rich.Allows for reverse of handle position.
