Don’t waste your money

This product looks good on paper but is a total bomb. The truck has no turning radius, it only goes straight. The sides of the truck keep falling off. The dinosaur can not be put into the back of the truck without taking the whole back of the truck apart which is virtually impossible for a 4 year old. Very frustrated grandson. I’m returning it.

Frustrating Christmas toy!

Bought on Prime Day and saved as my son’s Santa gift and it turned out to be a mistake. One of the big boulders won’t light up, the fog only works every once in a while, and it is so flimsy that every time they pop the boulders out for the volcano, the whole assembly falls apart. To be a Schleich product, it is really lacking the normal quality and of course, the return window is closed. Skip this toy!

The mist doesn't work

The mist doesn't work and now it's in a pile on my floor with the return window closed. I had high hopes for this toy for my son but I am extremely disappointed and I thought schleich was a good brand.

Poor quality

One star for the dinosaur only. It's the only component in this entire set that isn't cheap. For the price this toy is extremely disappointing. Pieces that should be staying on continuously fall off the truck while it is being played with and to put the dinosaur into the truck you have to take the whole thing apart and putting it back together is too hard for my six year old.

Very disappointed, not worth the money!

Volcano roared for about an hour and quit. Boulders lit up for less than 24hrs. Dart launcher worked once for the first middle and stopped. Steam has not worked since we put it together and we have reassembled multiple times to figure out the issue…no instructions in English. I can’t believe how much I payed for this! Very disappointed and requesting a refund

Hard to play with

It's a beautiful and entertaining toy. Although doesn't stay in place and brokes in pieces while my boys are playing with it. It's frustrating...

Perfect toy for a dinosaurs fans

Our kids love dinosaurs, and we love that they can use their imaginations to play with them. The Schleich DINOSAURS range is a hit with our whole family, and the volcano set is no exception! There are two different types of dinosaurs in this set: the Parasaurolophus and the Stegosaurus. We have a Stegosaurus who's been around since before the dinosaurs went extinct, so he's pretty old but still going strong—he's been around for over 65 million years! And the Parasaurolophus is just one of the many species that lived during the late Cretaceous period. We've had lots of fun with this set, and we think your kids will too—and maybe even learn something new about dinosaurs at the same time!

Missing the main part

It was missing the piece (that holds the water) to have it actually explode. There was way to exchange it. I’m waiting on schleich to see if I can get the part replaced. Otherwise I’ll have to return it and find it elsewhere. As a Christmas gift for a child, this was disappointing.

Brilliant quality and easy to assemble.

This is a great gift for any child who is in to dinosaurs. The detail and quality of the set and dinosaurs in particular is brilliant and justifies the £99 price tag in my opinion. The little lava rocks light up and steam comes out of the volcano when water is added to the tank which really sets the imagination alight. There are lots of little features and hidden spots on this set so hours of fun can be had playing out different scenarios. Despite water being involved there is very little mess due to the build quality, this has been put through its paces over the last month and has yet to leak despite being dropped several times. We've just ordered another set which can be used in conjunction to this one to expand the set. Overall I'm very impressed with this set.

The amazing detail and size.

I knew when I ordered this for our 8 & 9 year old boys that it would be a hit and great quality. They were not disappointed. The instructions to assemble were colorful and clear making it easy for both Mom & Dad to help the boys snap them together. Really into dinosours and Jurrasic Park so this is going to be a hit for long hours of play and imaginary. I love all the Schleich animal and dinosaur collections. So life-like and great quality. My children’s favorite toys! This is a great item and the children are enjoying playing with it. The only problem is with the large battery powered lava balls. It was very difficult to find a Phillips head screwdriver to fit the tiny screw holding the two parts together It could be a display piece for a collector rather than a toy. anyone interested in dinosaurs would be thrilled to have this in their possession. I am particularly pleased tier the coloring and the details of the teeth and the claws. Schleich is top notch for their collections . Amazing quality, you get what you pay for here. Will be buying many more for my kids as I expect these to last.
